柳州铁道职业技术学院位于国家历史文化名城、广西最大的工业城市——柳州市，成立于1956年，前身是铁道部属国家级重点中专柳州铁路运输学校。1958—1962年升格为广西铁道专科学校和柳州铁道学院（本科），1997—2007年先后合并多所院校，2009年更名为柳州铁道职业技术学院。学校是广西示范性高等职业院校、广西特色高校，2023年入选广西新一轮高水平高职学校和专业建设单位，被誉为中国西南地区铁路技能人才培养摇篮。

Liuzhou Railway Vocational Technical College is located in Liuzhou, a national historical and cultural city and the largest industrial city in Guangxi. Founded in 1956, its predecessor was Liuzhou Railway Transport School, a national key technical secondary school under the Ministry of Railways. It was upgraded to Guangxi Railway College and Liuzhou Railway College (undergraduate) from 1958 to 1962, merged several institutions successively from 1997 to 2007, and was renamed Liuzhou Railway Vocational Technical College in 2009. The college is a Guangxi Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a Guangxi Characteristic College, and was selected as a construction unit of the new round of high-level vocational schools and specialties in Guangxi in 2023, known as the cradle of railway technical talents in Southwest China.

学校占地面积近800亩，建筑面积32万多平方米，现有教职工近800人，全日制高职在校生1.5万余人。设有10个二级学院，开设45个专业，专业设置覆盖轨道交通全产业链，拥有全国高校黄大年式教师团队、教育部课程思政教学团队等高水平师资，建有国家级产教融合示范实训基地等70多个教学科研平台，获专利授权1030项。

The college covers an area of nearly 800 mu, with a building area of more than 320,000 square meters. It has nearly 800 faculty members and more than 15,000 full-time vocational college students. There are 10 secondary colleges and 45 majors, covering the entire industrial chain of rail transit. It has high-level faculty such as the National College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team and the Ministry of Education Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Team, and has built more than 70 teaching and research platforms including the National Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Training Base, with 1,030 authorized patents.

学校坚持“明德砺志，求知笃行”校训，深化产教融合、校企合作，与100多家铁路及地方企业建立合作关系，牵头成立广西轨道交通行业产教融合共同体等机构。建校69年来培养15万余名技术技能人才，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，涌现出共和国铁路楷模、全路首席技师等优秀校友，是广西唯一铁路专业最齐全、面向东盟的铁路高职院校。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue and Aspiration, Knowledge and Practice", the college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, has established cooperative relations with more than 100 railway and local enterprises, and takes the lead in establishing institutions such as the Guangxi Rail Transit Industry-Education Integration Community. Over the past 69 years since its establishment, it has trained more than 150,000 technical and skilled talents, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 95% for many years. Outstanding alumni such as the model of the Republic Railway and the chief technician of the whole railway have emerged. It is the only railway vocational college in Guangxi with the most complete railway majors and facing ASEAN.
