兰州外语职业学院创建于1998年，是教育部批准、面向全国招生的全日制普通高等职业院校。学院建有和平、兰州新区两个校区，其中和平校区坐落于甘肃省兴隆山脚下，占地300余亩，主要开展全日制高等职业专科学历教育；兰州新区新校区位于国家级新区职教园区，占地1350亩，规划建筑面积86万多平方米，以全日制高等职业学历教育本科层次为主体，辅以成人教育和职业培训。

Lanzhou Foreign Language Vocational College was founded in 1998 and is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and enrolling students nationwide. The college has two campuses: Heping and Lanzhou New Area. The Heping Campus is located at the foot of the beautiful Xinglong Mountain in Gansu Province, covering an area of over 300 mu, mainly conducting full-time higher vocational education at the junior college level. The new campus in Lanzhou New Area is situated in the vocational education park of the national-level new area, covering an area of 1350 mu with a planned construction area of over 860,000 square meters, focusing on full-time higher vocational education at the undergraduate level, supplemented by adult education and vocational training.

学院现有全日制在校生17804人，教职员工400余人，硕士学历教师占比70%，高级职称教师占比30%。校舍建筑面积达418472.605平方米，图书馆馆藏图书122万册，建有53个校内实训室和183个校外实训基地。学院设有7个二级学院，开设学前教育、护理、大数据与会计、计算机应用技术等56个专业（方向），形成了以教育、医药卫生、信息技术、财经商贸等为特色的专业体系。

The college currently has 17,804 full-time students and over 400 faculty members, with 70% of teachers holding master's degrees and 30% having senior professional titles. The school building area is 418,472.605 square meters, the library has a collection of 1.22 million books, and there are 53 on-campus training rooms and 183 off-campus training bases. The college has 7 secondary colleges, offering 56 majors (directions) such as Preschool Education, Nursing, Big Data and Accounting, and Computer Application Technology, forming a professional system featuring education, medicine and health, information technology, finance and commerce, etc.

学院始终坚持社会主义办学方向，以培养大国工匠、能工巧匠为己任，深化产教融合、校企合作，人才培养质量持续提升。建校20多年来，共培养各类专业人才5万多人，毕业生遍布甘肃乃至全国生产、管理、建设第一线。学院先后荣获教育部人才培养工作评估合格单位、甘肃省民政厅社会组织规范化评估5A级称号等多项荣誉，社会声誉良好。

The college always adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools, takes cultivating great craftsmen and skilled artisans as its responsibility, deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, and continuously improves the quality of talent cultivation. Over the past 20 years since its establishment, it has trained more than 50,000 professionals of various types, with graduates working in production, management, and construction frontlines in Gansu and across the country. The college has successively won many honors such as a qualified unit in the talent training evaluation by the Ministry of Education and the 5A title in the standardized evaluation of social organizations by the Gansu Provincial Civil Affairs Department, enjoying a good social reputation.
