泸州医疗器械职业学院是经四川省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由国企西南医疗健康产业投资集团有限公司投资举办的全国唯一一所培养医疗器械专门人才的全日制高等职业院校。学校位于中国西部工匠城核心区，校园占地530亩，校舍面积22万平方米，总投资约10亿元。校园功能分区合理，交通便利，环境优美，教学与生活设施齐全，实验仪器设备完善，图书馆纸质图书和电子图书达50余万册。

Luzhou Vocational College of Medical Devices is a full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is invested and run by Southwest Medical and Health Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise, and is the only college in China that cultivates specialized talents in medical devices. Located in the core area of China Western Craftsman City, the campus covers an area of 530 mu with a building area of 220,000 square meters and a total investment of about 1 billion yuan. The campus has reasonable functional zoning, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, complete teaching and living facilities, perfect experimental instruments and equipment, and the library has more than 500,000 paper books and e-books.

学校是泸州首家与国家级经开区综合考评八连冠苏州工业园区共建共享产业学院的单位，是泸州市委、市政府授予的“中国西部工匠城·医药工匠实训基地”，也是西南医科大学指导教学合作单位，参与打造区域医药健康中心。学校秉持“厚德、强能、求精、笃实”的办学理念，开设护理、医学影像技术、医疗器械维护与管理等10个高职专业，致力于培养医疗器械产品设计与制造、使用与维护、经营与管理等领域的高素质技能型人才。

The college is the first institution in Luzhou to co-build and share an industrial college with Suzhou Industrial Park, which has won the comprehensive evaluation of national economic development zones for eight consecutive years. It is awarded as the "China Western Craftsman City · Medical Craftsman Training Base" by the Luzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and is also a teaching cooperation unit guided by Southwest Medical University, participating in building a regional medical and health center. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Virtue, Strength, Excellence, and Pragmatism", the college offers 10 higher vocational majors including Nursing, Medical Imaging Technology, and Medical Device Maintenance and Management, committed to cultivating high-quality skilled talents in the fields of medical device product design and manufacturing, use and maintenance, operation and management.
