牡丹江大学是1983年经黑龙江省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等专科学校，由牡丹江市人民政府主办，坐落在素有“塞北江南、鱼米之乡”美誉的牡丹江市。作为黑龙江省首批地方高校之一，学校历经多年发展，已成为文理兼具、工服结合、专业齐全的综合型高等学府，累计为国家培养十余万高素质人才，办学声誉良好。

Mudanjiang University is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 1983. Sponsored by the People's Government of Mudanjiang City, it is located in Mudanjiang City, known as the "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall" and "land of fish and rice". As one of the first local colleges in Heilongjiang Province, the university has developed into a comprehensive institution of higher learning with a complete range of disciplines covering arts, sciences, engineering and service sectors after years of development. 学校占地37.3万平方米，固定资产总值4.5亿元，图书馆藏书56.6万册，教学仪器设备总值1.1亿元，拥有42个校内实验实训室和100余个校外实训基地。设有10个学院、39个专业，其中国家级重点建设专业2个、省级特色专业6个，形成了以应用型人才培养为核心的办学特色，80%以上专业实现订单培养，与140多家企业建立深度校企合作，构建了覆盖京津唐、长三角、珠三角等地区的实习实训就业网络。

The university covers an area of 373,000 square meters with a fixed asset value of 450 million yuan. Its library has a collection of 566,000 books and teaching instruments and equipment worth 110 million yuan. It boasts 42 on-campus laboratories and training bases as well as over 100 off-campus training bases. The university consists of 10 colleges offering 39 majors, including 2 national key construction majors and 6 provincial characteristic majors. It has formed a school-running feature centered on applied talent cultivation, with over 80% of majors implementing order-based training. It has established in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with more than 140 enterprises and built an internship, training and employment network covering the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and other areas.
