绵阳师范学院是四川省属全日制普通本科院校，坐落于中国科技城、李白出生地——全国文明城市绵阳市。学校2002年经国家教育部批准成立，2006年成为学士学位授予权单位，2011年获准招收环境工程专业学位硕士研究生，2024年获批成为硕士学位授予单位。建校以来，积淀形成了“自强不息、艰苦奋斗、务实创新、追求卓越”的精神，秉持“育人为本，服务地方”的办学理念，恪守“厚德、博学、笃行、弘毅”的校训。

Mianyang Teachers' College is a full-time public undergraduate institution affiliated to Sichuan Province, located in Mianyang, a national civilized city known as the birthplace of Li Bai and China's Science and Technology City. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2002, the college became a bachelor's degree-granting unit in 2006, began enrolling master's students in Environmental Engineering in 2011, and was accredited as a master's degree-granting institution in 2024. Since its establishment, it has fostered the spirit of "self-improvement, hard work, pragmatic innovation, and pursuit of excellence", adhering to the educational philosophy of "student-oriented, serving the local community" and the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practice, Perseverance".

学校现有高新、游仙、丰谷三个校区，占地面积近两千亩，建筑面积近50万平方米，建有现代化教学科研设施。设有16个二级学院，1个专业硕士学位点，51个全日制本科专业及2个职业教育本科专业，覆盖9大学科门类。现有专任教师1223人，其中高级职称524人、博士学位教师401人，在校研究生、全日制本专科学生及留学生20000余人。

The college has three campuses (Gaoxin, Youxian, and Fenggu) covering nearly 2,000 mu with a building area of approximately 500,000 square meters, equipped with modern teaching and research facilities. It comprises 16 secondary colleges, 1 professional master's degree program, 51 full-time undergraduate programs, and 2 vocational undergraduate programs, covering 9 academic disciplines. The college has 1,223 full-time teachers, including 524 with senior titles and 401 with doctoral degrees, with over 20,000 students including postgraduates, full-time undergraduates, and international students.

学校以“教学型、地方型、应用型、师范型”为办学定位，实施“优教、强工、兴文、精艺、扶农”学科发展方略，获批国家级一流本科专业建设点1个、省级12个，国家级一流课程4门、省级51门，荣获国家级教学成果奖2项、省级16项。15个师范专业全部通过师范类专业二级认证，构建了完善的创新创业教育体系，近五年学生获国家级、省级学科竞赛奖项近2400项次。

With a positioning as "teaching-oriented, local, application-oriented, and normal education-focused", the college implements the discipline development strategy of "excellent education, strong engineering, prosperous humanities, refined arts, and supportive agriculture". It has been accredited with 1 national and 12 provincial first-class undergraduate programs, 4 national and 51 provincial first-class courses, and has won 2 national and 16 provincial teaching achievement awards. All 15 normal majors have passed the second-level certification for teacher education programs. The college has established a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship education system, with students winning nearly 2,400 national and provincial discipline competition awards in the past five years.

学校坚持科研服务地方发展，建有四川省重点实验室1个、社科重点研究基地3个，近五年承担国家级、省级科研项目179项，获得四川省科技进步奖7项。与省内外70余个地方政府、企业及科研院所建立合作关系，累计为国家培养13万余名优秀学子，为四川乃至西部地区经济社会发展作出重要贡献。

Committed to serving local development through scientific research, the college hosts 1 Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory and 3 Provincial Key Social Science Research Bases. In the past five years, it has undertaken 179 national and provincial research projects and won 7 Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards. Collaborating with over 70 local governments, enterprises, and research institutions, the college has cultivated more than 130,000 outstanding graduates, making significant contributions to the economic and social development of Sichuan and western China.
