南开大学滨海学院是2004年经教育部批准设立，由南开大学和天津市滨海新区人民政府按照新的模式和机制合作创办的全日制普通本科高校，坐落于天津市滨海新区中部高教园区内。学院是依据《中华人民共和国教育法》《中华人民共和国民办教育促进法》举办的独立学院，具有独立法人资格，实行董事会领导下的院长负责制。

Nankai University Binhai College is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is co-founded by Nankai University and the People's Government of Tianjin Binhai New Area in accordance with a new model and mechanism, and is located in the central higher education park of Tianjin Binhai New Area. The college is an independent college established in accordance with the "Education Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Private Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China", with independent legal personality and implementing the president responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors.

学院拥有近千亩校园和万人规模，总建筑面积23万余平方米，面向全国招生，学生毕业后颁发国家统一印制的南开大学滨海学院毕业证书，符合学位授予条件的授予南开大学滨海学院学士学位证书。学院现设有经济管理、金融学、外语、法政学、艺术、管理科学与工程、计算机科学、电子科学、环境科学与工程等9个系，涵盖工学、理学、管理学、经济学、法学、文学、艺术学7个学科门类的43个专业及专业方向。

The college has a campus of nearly 1,000 mu and a scale of 10,000 students, with a total construction area of more than 230,000 square meters. It enrolls students nationwide. After graduation, students are awarded the graduation certificate of Nankai University Binhai College uniformly printed by the state, and those who meet the degree awarding conditions are awarded the bachelor's degree certificate of Nankai University Binhai College. The college now has 9 departments including Economics and Management, Finance, Foreign Languages, Law and Politics, Art, Management Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Science, and Environmental Science and Engineering, covering 43 majors and professional directions in 7 disciplines: engineering, science, management, economics, law, literature, and art.
