国立台北大学（National Taipei University, NTPU），简称“北大”或“台北大”，前身为1949年创立的台湾省立行政专科学校，历经台湾省立法商学院、中兴大学法商学院等阶段，2000年正式独立为国立台北大学。作为台湾顶尖的人文社会科学学府，该校与国立台湾大学、国立政治大学并称台湾法商教育“三强”，以培养公职人才、法商精英及社会科学研究者著称。

National Taipei University (NTPU), commonly referred to as "Taipei University" or "NTU", traces its roots to the Taiwan Provincial College of Administration founded in 1949. It evolved through iterations as the Taiwan Provincial College of Law and Business and the College of Law and Business under Chung Hsing University before gaining independence in 2000. Recognized as one of Taiwan's premier institutions for humanities and social sciences, NTPU ranks among the top three universities for law and business education alongside National Taiwan University and National Chengchi University, renowned for producing public servants, legal/business professionals, and social science researchers.

学校现有台北、三峡两个校区：台北校区位于市中心，聚焦在职进修与专业培训；三峡校区地处新北市，为校本部，占地广阔且设施现代化，拥有法律学院、商学院、公共事务学院、社会科学学院、人文学院及电机资讯学院等6个学院，开设21个学系、24个硕士班及10个博士班，形成以法商为核心、跨领域发展的学科体系。

The university operates two campuses: the Taipei Campus in the city center, focused on professional training and continuing education, and the Sanxia Campus in New Taipei City, serving as the main campus with extensive modern facilities. It comprises six colleges—Law, Business, Public Affairs, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science—offering 21 undergraduate programs, 24 master's programs, and 10 doctoral programs, forming a discipline system centered on law and business with interdisciplinary development.
