南昌工学院是一所以工为主、多学科协调发展的全日制应用型本科院校和具有学士学位授予权单位，创办于1988年，前身为赣江大学，2011年经教育部批准升格为本科院校。学校坐落于江西省南昌市，占地面积2386.48亩，校舍建筑总面积99万平方米，2020年获批国家3A级旅游景区。

Nanchang Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time application-oriented undergraduate university with the right to grant bachelor's degrees, focusing on engineering and developing multiple disciplines in a coordinated manner. Founded in 1988, its predecessor was Ganjiang University, and it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2011. Located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, the university covers an area of 2386.48 mu with a total building area of 990,000 square meters, and was approved as a national 3A-level tourist attraction in 2020.

学校设有8个专业学院，开设60个本科专业、37个专科专业，涵盖工学、理学、经济学、管理学等8大学科门类。现有在校生2.95万人，教职员工2000余人，其中专任教师1400余人，具有高级职称的教师380余人，博士学位教师230余人。近年来，师生完成省部级课题600余项，获得发明专利和实用新型专利600余项，师生参加各类省级及以上竞赛获奖1500余项。

The university has 8 professional colleges, offering 60 undergraduate majors and 37 junior college majors, covering 8 disciplines including engineering, science, economics, and management. Currently, there are 29,500 students and more than 2,000 faculty members, including over 1,400 full-time teachers, more than 380 with senior professional titles, and more than 230 with doctoral degrees. In recent years, teachers and students have completed more than 600 provincial and ministerial-level projects, obtained more than 600 invention patents and utility model patents, and won more than 1,500 awards in various provincial and above competitions.
