北华航天工业学院坐落在河北省廊坊市，是河北省人民政府直属、国家国防科技工业局与河北省人民政府共建的公办普通高等院校，是国家“十三五”产教融合发展工程建设高校、河北省应用技术大学转型试点高校。学校始建于1978年，前身为廊坊精密机械工业学校，历经华北航天工业学校、河北航天工业学校、华北航天工业学院等发展阶段，2016年更名为北华航天工业学院。

Beihua University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is located in Langfang City, Hebei Province. It is a public ordinary higher education institution directly under the People's Government of Hebei Province and co-constructed by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Hebei Province. It is a university under the "13th Five-Year Plan" Industry-Education Integration Development Project and a pilot university for the transformation of applied technology universities in Hebei Province. Founded in 1978, the school was formerly known as Langfang Precision Machinery Industry School, and has gone through development stages such as North China Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hebei Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and North China Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It was renamed Beihua University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2016.

学校以工为主，工、管、文、理、经、法等多学科协调发展，重点面向航空航天、装备制造、电子信息等领域培养高素质应用型人才。现有20个教学单位，开设40余个本科专业，拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点12个，省级一流本科专业建设点15个，形成了以航天特色为引领、工科为主干、多学科相互支撑的学科专业体系。

The university focuses on engineering, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, management, liberal arts, science, economics, and law. It focuses on cultivating high-quality applied talents in fields such as aerospace, equipment manufacturing, and electronic information. There are 20 teaching units, offering more than 40 undergraduate majors, with 12 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 15 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, forming a discipline and professional system led by aerospace characteristics, with engineering as the backbone and multiple disciplines supporting each other.
