南昌交通学院（原华东交通大学理工学院）成立于2001年，是经教育部批准的全日制普通本科高校，2020年年底转设更名为南昌交通学院，为江西省首批成功转设的高校之一。学校以本科学历教育为主，兼顾专科学历教育，适当开展继续教育和技能培训，并与华东交通大学在建筑与土木工程、交通运输工程、机械工程、会计、翻译五个专业联合开展硕士研究生培养。

Nanchang Jiaotong Institute (formerly the Institute of Technology, East China Jiaotong University) was founded in 2001. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. At the end of 2020, it was renamed Nanchang Jiaotong Institute after being transformed, becoming one of the first batch of successfully transformed universities in Jiangxi Province. The university mainly focuses on undergraduate education, also offers junior college education, and appropriately carries out continuing education and skill training. It also jointly conducts postgraduate training with East China Jiaotong University in five majors: Architecture and Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Accounting, and Translation.

学校现有南昌黄家湖校区、靖安墨轩湖校区和靖安大学生实习实训基地，共占地5000余亩，配备101个校内实验实训室和105个校外实习实训基地，教学科研仪器设备总值1.13亿元，图书馆纸质图书144.35万余册、电子文献125.45万余册。设有十院一部，开设43个本科专业、23个高职专业，涵盖工、管、经、法、文、艺、教育学等七大学科门类，形成以工为主、工管结合的多学科协调发展格局，在交通类、智能制造类、电子信息类专业群具有优势。

The university currently has three campuses: Nanchang Huangjiahu Campus, Jing'an Moxuanhu Campus, and Jing'an College Student Internship and Training Base, covering a total area of more than 5,000 mu. It is equipped with 101 on-campus laboratories and training rooms and 105 off-campus internship and training bases. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 113 million yuan. The library has more than 1.4435 million paper books and 1.2545 million electronic documents. It has ten schools and one department, offering 43 undergraduate majors and 23 junior college majors, covering seven disciplines including engineering, management, economics, law, literature, art, and education. It has formed a multi-disciplinary coordinated development pattern with engineering as the main focus and the combination of engineering and management, and has advantages in transportation, intelligent manufacturing, and electronic information professional groups.

学校注重应用型人才培养，各专业实践教学学分占比超32%，校企合作专业覆盖率达100%，成立7个产业学院，积极推进产教融合与工程教育认证。近年来获省级一流本科专业建设点1个、一流课程10门，学生学科竞赛获国家级奖项62项、省级308项，毕业生就业率位居江西省同类高校前列，考研、参军、入职公职及大型企业人数逐年增加，社会声誉良好。

The university focuses on the cultivation of applied talents. The proportion of practical teaching credits in each major exceeds 32%, and the coverage rate of school-enterprise cooperation majors reaches 100%. It has established seven industrial colleges and actively promotes industry-education integration and engineering education certification. In recent years, it has obtained 1 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction site and 10 first-class courses. Students have won 62 national awards and 308 provincial awards in discipline competitions. The employment rate of graduates ranks among the top of similar universities in Jiangxi Province. The number of postgraduate entrance examinations, military service, entry into public service and large enterprises has increased year by year, and it enjoys a good social reputation.
