华北理工大学冀唐学院成立于2001年，是经河北省人民政府批准、教育部确认的独立学院。学院坐落于京津冀协同发展战略的重要区域——河北省唐山市曹妃甸新城，校园环境幽雅，基础设施先进，师资力量雄厚，办学条件优良。

North China University of Science and Technology Jitang College was founded in 2001. It is an independent college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and confirmed by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Caofeidian New Town, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, an important area in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy. The campus has an elegant environment, advanced infrastructure, strong faculty, and excellent school-running conditions.

冀唐学院依托华北理工大学的综合办学优势，贯彻以人为本的办学理念，以传承知识、培养人才、服务社会为宗旨，以市场需求为导向，开设临床医学、口腔医学、中医学、护理学、医学影像技术、药学、英语、法学8个专业，学科涉及医、理、文、法四个学科门类，有本科在校生近六千人。

Relying on the comprehensive school-running advantages of North China University of Science and Technology, Jitang College implements the people-oriented school-running philosophy. With the purpose of inheriting knowledge, cultivating talents and serving the society, and guided by market demand, it offers 8 majors including Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nursing, Medical Imaging Technology, Pharmacy, English and Law. The disciplines involve four categories: medicine, science, liberal arts and law, with nearly 6,000 undergraduate students.

学院着力培养学生的实践能力，高度重视学生的实习工作，不断加强实习基地和全程临床教学基地的建设。目前已建立中国人民解放军第二五二医院等8所承担临床教学全过程的教学基地，并建设了包括北京航空总医院、天津第一中心医院等多家国内知名医院的55个实践教学基地，为学生创造了高层次、高水平的学习实践平台。

The college focuses on cultivating students' practical ability, attaches great importance to students' internship, and continuously strengthens the construction of internship bases and full-process clinical teaching bases. At present, it has established 8 teaching bases undertaking the whole process of clinical teaching, such as the 252nd Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and 55 practical teaching bases including many well-known domestic hospitals such as Beijing Aviation General Hospital and Tianjin First Central Hospital, creating a high-level learning and practice platform for students.
