东北农业大学（Northeast Agricultural University），简称为“东北农大”，位于黑龙江省哈尔滨市，是一所以农科为优势，以生命科学和食品科学为特色，农、工、理、经、管等多学科协调发展的国家“双一流”建设高校、国家“211工程”重点建设大学。学校始建于1948年，历经东北农学院、黑龙江八一农垦大学等发展阶段，1994年更名为东北农业大学。学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，着力培养知农爱农、全面发展的高素质人才，为国家农业现代化和区域经济社会发展作出了重要贡献。

Northeast Agricultural University, referred to as "NEAU", is located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. It is a national "Double First-Class" construction university and a key university under the national "211 Project", with agriculture as its advantage, life sciences and food sciences as its characteristics, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, and management. Founded in 1948, the university has gone through development stages such as Northeast Agricultural College and Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University, and was renamed Northeast Agricultural University in 1994. The university always adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and talents, striving to cultivate high-quality talents who know and love agriculture and develop in an all-round way, making important contributions to the national agricultural modernization and regional economic and social development.

学校拥有完善的学科体系和雄厚的师资力量，现有17个学院和1个教学部，开设63个本科专业，涵盖农学、工学、理学、经济学、管理学、文学、法学、艺术学等8个学科门类。学校在农业科学、植物学与动物学、环境科学与生态学等学科领域进入ESI全球前1%。师资队伍中，有中国工程院院士2人，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、国家“万人计划”领军人才等国家级人才50余人。学校注重科技创新，建有多个国家级科研平台和省部级重点实验室，在寒地农业、绿色农业、动物养殖等研究领域取得了一系列重大科研成果。

The university has a complete disciplinary system and strong faculty. Currently, it has 17 colleges and 1 teaching department, offering 63 undergraduate majors covering 8 disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, and art. The university has entered the top 1% of ESI globally in disciplinary fields such as Agricultural Sciences, Plant & Animal Science, and Environment/Ecology. Among the faculty, there are 2 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and more than 50 national-level talents such as winners of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund and leading talents of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program". The university attaches importance to scientific and technological innovation, has built a number of national-level scientific research platforms and provincial-level key laboratories, and has achieved a series of major scientific research results in research fields such as cold-region agriculture, green agriculture, and animal breeding.
