广东东软学院是经教育部批准设立、由东软出资举办的民办普通高等院校，前身为2003年成立的南海东软信息技术职业学院，2014年升格为本科院校并更名。学校坐落于广东省佛山市高新技术产业开发区核心园区，占地面积53.87万平方米，建筑面积32.07万平方米，以全日制本科学历教育为主，设置9个二级学院，涵盖工学、管理学、艺术学、文学4个学科门类，共23个本科专业、10个专升本专业和7个专科专业，全日制在校生14000余人，教职工700余人。

Neusoft Institute Guangdong is a private general higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education and funded by Neusoft. Its predecessor was Nanhai Neusoft Institute of Information Technology, established in 2003, and it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution and renamed in 2014. Located in the core area of Foshan High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guangdong Province, the university covers an area of 538,700 square meters with a building area of 320,700 square meters. It mainly offers full-time undergraduate education, with 9 secondary colleges covering 4 disciplines: Engineering, Management, Arts, and Literature, including 23 undergraduate majors, 10 junior college to undergraduate majors, and 7 junior college majors, with over 14,000 full-time students and more than 700 faculty members.

学校秉承“精勤博学，学以致用”校训，践行“教育创造学生价值”办学理念，以建设“有特色、高水平、IT应用技术大学”为目标，形成“一模式、四融合”的应用型办学特色。拥有省级特色重点学科1个、重点培育学科1个，一流专业建设点3个，国家级一流本科课程1门、省级一流本科课程14门，获批教育部产学合作协同育人项目161项，建有产业学院5个及国家级众创空间、科技企业孵化器等创新创业平台，累计向社会输送3万余名高素质应用型人才。

Adhering to the school motto of "Diligent in Learning, Learned in Knowledge, Applying What is Learned" and the educational philosophy of "Education Creates Student Value", the university aims to build a "distinctive, high-level IT application technology university" and has formed an application-oriented school-running characteristic of "one model and four integrations". It has 1 provincial-level characteristic key discipline, 1 key cultivation discipline, 3 first-class professional construction sites, 1 national-level first-class undergraduate course, 14 provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses, 161 industry-education integration collaborative education projects approved by the Ministry of Education, 5 industrial colleges, and innovation and entrepreneurship platforms such as national mass innovation spaces and technology business incubators, having cultivated over 30,000 high-quality applied talents for the society.

学校积极推进国际化办学，2015年获批招收海外留学生资格，2021年与英国西英格兰大学合作举办软件工程专业4+0本科项目，与多所海外高校开展学分互认合作。先后荣获“广东省依法治校示范校”“国家级技能型紧缺人才培养基地”“2022年度综合竞争力品牌高校”“2022智联招聘中国最佳雇主”等称号，党委获评“佛山市先进基层党组织”，为粤港澳大湾区数字经济发展提供人才支撑。

The university actively promotes international education, obtained the qualification to enroll overseas students in 2015, cooperated with the University of the West of England in the UK to launch a 4+0 undergraduate program in Software Engineering in 2021, and carried out credit recognition cooperation with multiple overseas universities. It has successively won titles such as "Guangdong Provincial Model School for Running Schools in Accordance with Law", "National Training Base for Skilled Talents in Short Supply", "2022 Annual Comprehensive Competitiveness Brand University", and "2022 Zhaopin China's Best Employer". Its Party Committee was awarded "Foshan Advanced Grassroots Party Organization", providing talent support for the digital economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
