新泻大学（英文：Niigata University）于1870年建校，是明治维新后日本政府创立最早的国立大学之一，也是代表日本最高教育和研究水平的国立大学群“七帝官十一”成员。该校坐落于日本本州岛日本海沿岸最大的政令指定都市新潟市，是本州岛日本海一侧规模最大的综合性国立大学，QS世界大学排名位列全球550位、亚洲第110位。

Niigata University, founded in 1870, is one of the earliest national universities established by the Japanese government after the Meiji Restoration and a member of the "Seven Imperial Universities and Eleven National Universities" group representing Japan's highest level of education and research. Located in Niigata City, the largest designated city on the Sea of Japan coast of Honshu Island, it is the largest comprehensive national university on the Sea of Japan side of Honshu, ranked 550th globally and 110th in Asia in the QS World University Rankings.

学校设有9个学部（人文学部、教育学部、法学部、经济学部、理学部、医学部、齿学部、工学部、农学部）和5个大学院研究科，拥有脑研究所、灾害・复兴科学研究所、医齿学综合医院等研究机构，学生约13,000人，教职人员约2,900人。其医学部在神经科学、肿瘤学领域成果显著，农学部设有世界首个清酒学研究中心，工学部则以环境工程和材料科学为特色。

The university comprises 9 faculties (Faculty of Humanities, Education, Law, Economics, Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, and Agriculture) and 5 graduate schools, with research institutions including the Brain Research Institute, Disaster and Reconstruction Science Institute, and Integrated Medical and Dental Hospital. It has approximately 13,000 students and 2,900 faculty members. The Faculty of Medicine has achieved significant results in neuroscience and oncology, the Faculty of Agriculture houses the world's first Sake Research Center, and the Faculty of Engineering specializes in environmental engineering and materials science.

新泻大学与全球多所著名高校建立合作关系，包括中国的清华大学、北京大学等，并以相对低廉的学费（本科约53.58万日元/年）和完善的奖学金制度吸引国际学生。校园总面积约6.23平方公里，拥有藏书近130万册的中央图书馆及医齿学图书馆，为学生提供优质学习环境。

Niigata University has established partnerships with renowned universities worldwide, including Tsinghua University and Peking University in China. It attracts international students with relatively low tuition fees (approximately 535,800 yen/year for undergraduate programs) and a comprehensive scholarship system. The campus spans approximately 6.23 square kilometers, featuring a central library with nearly 1.3 million books and a medical and dental library, providing an excellent learning environment for students.
