内蒙古化工职业学院是内蒙古自治区教育厅直属的一所具有鲜明化工和建材行业特色及技术优势的国办全日制普通高等职业院校。前身是1978年建校的内蒙古石油化工学校和1979年建校的内蒙古建材工业学校，两校于2003年合并升格为高职院校。经过20余年高等职业教育发展，学校先后成为国家骨干校、国家“双高计划”建设单位、全国职业院校数字校园建设试点单位、全国化工行业技能人才评价先进单位、教育部“一站式”学生社区综合管理模式建设自主试点单位，获评全国优秀易班共建高校。

Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Chemical Engineering is a state-owned full-time ordinary higher vocational college directly under the Education Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with distinct characteristics and technical advantages in the chemical and building materials industries. Its predecessors were Inner Mongolia Petrochemical School founded in 1978 and Inner Mongolia Building Materials Industry School founded in 1979. The two schools merged and were upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2003. After more than 20 years of development in higher vocational education, the college has successively become a National Key Vocational College, a construction unit of the National "Double High Plan", a pilot unit for digital campus construction of national vocational colleges, an advanced unit for skill talent evaluation in the national chemical industry, an independent pilot unit for the construction of the "One-Stop" student community comprehensive management model of the Ministry of Education, and was awarded the National Excellent Yiban Co-construction University.

学校占地769亩，建筑面积26.2万㎡。固定资产总值106280.30万元，教学仪器设备总值28167.62万元。现有教职工575人，高职在校生10969人。设有化学工程系、机电工程系、材料工程系、管理工程系、信息工程系、通识教育教学部、思政理论教研部、体育教学部等教学单位。学校紧密对接自治区新能源、新型化工、现代装备制造等重点产业链布局专业，专业涵盖生物与化工、装备制造、能源环境与安全、公共管理与服务、电子与信息等大类，现有招生专业45个。

The college covers an area of 769 mu with a building area of 262,000 square meters. The total value of fixed assets is 106,280.30 yuan, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 28,167.62 yuan. There are 575 faculty members and 10,969 vocational college students. It has teaching units such as the Department of Chemical Engineering, the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Materials Engineering, the Department of Management Engineering, the Department of Information Engineering, the Department of General Education, the Department of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching and Research, and the Department of Physical Education. The college closely aligns with the key industrial chains of the autonomous region such as new energy, new chemical industry, and modern equipment manufacturing, covering majors in biology and chemical engineering, equipment manufacturing, energy environment and safety, public management and services, electronics and information, with 45 enrollment majors.

建有煤化工技术国家级高水平专业群，化工装备技术、大数据技术2个自治区级高水平专业群，国家级重点专业7个，自治区特色专业3个，自治区级重点建设专业4个，自治区级品牌专业12个，教育部现代学徒制试点专业5个。学校聚焦立德树人，人才培养成效显著。2014年开发“大型现代煤化工教学工厂，创新高技能人才培养实践教学模式”项目获国家级教学成果一等奖。

It has built a national high-level professional group in coal chemical technology, 2 autonomous region-level high-level professional groups in chemical equipment technology and big data technology, 7 national key majors, 3 autonomous region characteristic majors, 4 autonomous region key construction majors, 12 autonomous region brand majors, and 5 modern apprenticeship pilot majors of the Ministry of Education. The college focuses on establishing morality and cultivating people, and has achieved remarkable results in talent training. In 2014, the project "Developing Large-scale Modern Coal Chemical Teaching Factory and Innovating Practical Teaching Mode for Training High-skilled Talents" won the first prize of National Teaching Achievements.

近年来毕业生毕业去向落实率始终保持在96%以上，毕业生深受社会及用人单位的普遍欢迎和好评，大批优秀毕业生已经成为地方经济建设和社会发展的骨干力量。学校深入推进教育教学改革，深化产教融合。近三年来，学校牵头成立政行企校多元共治的智慧化工行业产教融合共同体，与多家头部企业联合成立产业学校，联合开展订单班、工匠班人才培养，建成5个自治区工匠班；30个专业可开展“1+X”职业技能等级证书认证，可开展43个工种的技能人才等级评价认定工作。

The college has deeply promoted education and teaching reform and deepened the integration of industry and education. In the past three years, the college has taken the lead in establishing a smart chemical industry-education integration community with multiple governance by government, industry, enterprises and schools, jointly established industry schools with many leading enterprises, jointly carried out talent training in order classes and craftsman classes, and built 5 autonomous region craftsman classes; 30 majors can carry out "1+X" vocational skill level certificate certification, and 43 types of work can carry out skill talent level evaluation and certification work.

学校入选国家西部地区50所产教融合卓越高职学校，获批自治区级产业工人队伍建设改革试点单位、自治区第四届黄炎培职业教育奖优秀学校、自治区工匠学校。学校拥有一支素质优良、结构合理、师德高尚的高水平师资队伍。校内专任教师472人，专任教师中具有正高职称的37人，副高级职称的144人，具有硕士学位专任教师285人、博士18人，双师素质教师312人。
