内蒙古警察学院是由内蒙古自治区人民政府举办、内蒙古自治区公安厅主管、内蒙古自治区教育厅业务指导的公办全日制普通本科学校，其前身为1948年成立的内蒙古公安部直属训练科，2025年2月在原内蒙古警察职业学院基础上升格为本科院校，是全区唯一的公安政法类高等学校，被誉为“北疆警官的摇篮”。

Inner Mongolia Police College is a public full-time ordinary undergraduate university sponsored by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, managed by the Public Security Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and under the business guidance of the Education Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its predecessor was the directly affiliated training section of the Inner Mongolia Public Security Department established in 1948. In February 2025, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution on the basis of the former Inner Mongolia Police Vocational College. It is the only public security and political science higher education institution in the region and is known as "the cradle of police officers in northern Xinjiang".

学校以公安学历教育、在职民警培训、公安理论研究为核心职能，开设侦查学、治安学、网络安全与执法等本科专业及刑事科学技术等专科专业，实施“教、学、练、战”一体化培养模式，为边疆地区培养了8万余名公安政法人才，毕业生中涌现出多名全国公安系统英雄模范和特级优秀人民警察。

The college takes public security academic education, in-service police training, and public security theoretical research as its core functions. It offers undergraduate majors such as Investigation, Public Security Studies, and Cybersecurity and Law Enforcement, as well as specialized majors such as Criminal Science and Technology. It implements an integrated training model of "teaching, learning, practicing, and fighting", and has cultivated more than 80,000 public security and political legal talents for border areas. Among the graduates, many national public security system heroic models and special-grade outstanding people's policemen have emerged.
