南宁理工学院是教育部批准的独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校，其前身是创办于2002年4月的桂林理工大学博文管理学院。学校现有东盟、桂林两个校区，东盟校区位于南宁教育园区广西-东盟经济技术开发区，占地1038亩，规划总建筑面积69万平方米；桂林校区位于雁山教育园区，占地730亩，规划总建筑面积48万平方米。学校拥有现代化的教学楼、功能先进的实验室与实训室，以及设施完备的宿舍楼、食堂和体育场馆，环境优雅，生活便利。

Nanning College of Technology is a privately-run ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, with its predecessor being the Bowen School of Management of Guilin University of Technology founded in April 2002. The university currently has two campuses: ASEAN Campus and Guilin Campus. The ASEAN Campus is located in the Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone of Nanning Education Park, covering an area of 1,038 mu with a planned total construction area of 690,000 square meters; the Guilin Campus is situated in Yanshan Education Park, covering 730 mu with a planned total construction area of 480,000 square meters. The university boasts modern teaching buildings, advanced laboratories and training rooms, as well as well-equipped dormitories, canteens and sports venues, providing an elegant environment and convenient living conditions.

学校秉承“厚德，博学，自强，弘毅”的校训，坚持“育人为本、质量立校、特色强校”的办学理念，形成了以工学、管理学为主，工、管、艺、经、文、理、教育学协调发展的专业布局。现开设41个本科专业，拥有省级一流专业7个，省级一流课程1门，广西高校特色专业1个，广西转型试点专业群1个，广西民办高校重点建设专业5个，自治区创新创业教育改革示范专业1个，自治区创新创业教学团队1个，自治区协同育人平台1个。设有土木与工程学院、商学院、信息工程学院、艺术与传媒学院、文理学院、马克思主义学院等教学单位，在校学生18800余人。

Adhering to the school motto of "Houde, Boxue, Ziqiang, Hongyi" (Virtue, Erudition, Self-improvement, Perseverance) and the educational philosophy of "student-oriented, quality-based, and characteristic-strengthened", the university has formed a professional layout dominated by engineering and management, with coordinated development of engineering, management, art, economics, literature, science, and education. Currently, it offers 41 undergraduate majors, including 7 provincial first-class majors, 1 provincial first-class course, 1 characteristic major of Guangxi universities, 1 pilot professional group for transformation in Guangxi, 5 key construction majors of Guangxi private universities, 1 demonstration major for innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in the autonomous region, 1 innovation and entrepreneurship teaching team in the autonomous region, and 1 collaborative education platform in the autonomous region. It has teaching units such as the School of Civil Engineering, Business School, School of Information Engineering, School of Art and Media, School of Arts and Sciences, and School of Marxism, with more than 18,800 students on campus.
