Northeast Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national "Double First-Class" construction university, and a key university under the national "211 Project". The university has rich teaching resources and strong faculty. It currently has 23 colleges (departments), 81 undergraduate majors, 23 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, 37 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degrees, 1 doctoral professional degree authorization point and 22 master's professional degree authorization points. Focusing on scientific research innovation, the university has built a number of national-level scientific research platforms and provincial-level key laboratories, and has achieved fruitful scientific research results in both humanities and social sciences and natural sciences.
