宁夏交通职业技术学院是经宁夏回族自治区人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的区内唯一一所交通运输类全日制公办大专层次普通高等职业院校，隶属于自治区交通运输厅，前身为具有六十余年办学历史的宁夏交通技师学院，于2024年6月正式挂牌成立。学院位于银川市虹桥南街504号，占地400亩，建筑面积9.35万平方米，秉持“质量立校、特色兴校、人才强校”发展战略，是自治区文明单位、互联网+教育试点学校及交通运输职业教育教学指导委员会理事单位。

Ningxia Communications Technical College is the only full-time public higher vocational college specializing in transportation in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, approved by the regional government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Department of Transportation, it evolved from Ningxia Communications Technician College with over 60 years of educational heritage and was officially established in June 2024. Located at No.504 Hongqiao South Street, Yinchuan, the college covers 400 mu (266,667㎡) with 93,500㎡ of building area. Adhering to the development strategy of "Quality-based, Feature-driven, Talent-strengthened", it is recognized as an Autonomous Region Civilized Unit, "Internet + Education" Pilot School, and Governing Unit of Transportation Vocational Education Steering Committee.

学院现设汽车工程系、路桥工程系、轨道交通工程系、交通运输管理系、交通信息工程系五个系部，开设道路与桥梁工程技术、汽车检测与维修技术、智能交通技术、新能源汽车检测与维修技术、城市轨道交通运营管理等特色专业。通过“一体化、三连通、五融合”的产教融合模式，与华设设计集团、中交公路规划设计院等企业深度合作，构建了涵盖全日制高职教育、中职教育、成人函授、职业技能鉴定及岗位培训的多层次育人体系，致力于培养交通行业高素质技术技能人才。

The college comprises five departments: Automotive Engineering, Road & Bridge Engineering, Rail Transit Engineering, Transportation Management, and Traffic Information Engineering. It offers specialized programs including Road & Bridge Engineering Technology, Automobile Inspection & Maintenance, Intelligent Transportation Technology, New Energy Vehicle Testing & Repair, and Urban Rail Transit Operation Management. Through its "Integrated, Three-Connected, Five-Integrated" industry-education integration model, the college has established in-depth collaborations with enterprises like China Design Group and CCCC Highway Consultants. It provides multi-level education covering full-time vocational education, secondary vocational education, adult correspondence courses, vocational skill appraisal, and on-job training, dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical talents for the transportation sector.
