宁夏大学新华学院是由宁夏大学按照新机制、新模式举办的全日制普通本科高等学校，2002年3月经自治区人民政府批准成立，2004年1月经教育部确认。学院坐落于银川市西夏区贺兰山西路668号，毗邻宁夏大学，占地面积252亩，新校区规划面积877.17亩。学院面向全国19个省、自治区、直辖市招生，现有全日制在校本科生8416人，已培养16届共计20892名合格毕业生。

Xinhua College of Ningxia University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution established by Ningxia University under a new mechanism and model. Approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region in March 2002, it was confirmed by the Ministry of Education in January 2004. Located at No. 668 Helan West Road, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, adjacent to Ningxia University, the college covers an area of 252 mu, with a planned area of 877.17 mu for the new campus. It enrolls students from 19 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, with 8,416 full-time undergraduate students and has cultivated 20,892 qualified graduates over 16 sessions.

学院设有文学、工学、理学、管理学、法学、教育学、艺术学等7个门类30个本科专业，拥有4个院级重点学科、1个自治区“十三五”优势特色学科、6个自治区级特色专业，20个专业获批教育部产学合作协同育人项目，11个专业入选一流本科专业“双万计划”省级一流本科专业建设点。学院师资队伍中具有研究生学历教师占比80%，双师型教师79人，近年来在全国教师教学竞赛中位列全国民办及独立学院第25位（宁夏第1位）。

The college offers 30 undergraduate majors across 7 disciplines: Literature, Engineering, Science, Management, Law, Education, and Arts. It boasts 4 university-level key disciplines, 1 autonomous region-level advantageous characteristic discipline during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, 6 autonomous region-level characteristic majors, 20 majors approved for the Ministry of Education's Industry-University Cooperation and Collaborative Education Program, and 11 majors selected as provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites in the "Double Ten Thousand Plan". Among the faculty, 80% hold postgraduate degrees, with 79 "double-qualified" teachers. In recent years, it ranked 25th among national private and independent colleges (1st in Ningxia) in national teacher teaching competitions.

学院以应用型人才培养为目标，构建“德育+智育+体育+美育+劳育”课程体系，加入全国应用型课程建设联盟。近三年学生参加“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛参赛覆盖率连续位列全区高校第一，毕业生年终就业率连续五年保持90%以上。学院先后荣获“全国先进独立学院”“社会满意度十佳独立学院”“宁夏高校毕业生就业工作先进单位”等称号。

With the goal of cultivating applied talents, the college has constructed a curriculum system integrating "moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education" and joined the National Alliance for Applied Curriculum Construction. In the past three years, its student participation rate in the "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has ranked first among colleges in the region for consecutive years, with the annual graduate employment rate maintaining over 90% for five consecutive years. The college has successively won titles such as "National Advanced Independent College", "Top Ten Independent Colleges with Social Satisfaction", and "Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment in Ningxia Colleges and Universities".

学院坚持开放办学，与福建师范大学等高校建立合作关系，与台湾朝阳科技大学、韩国又松大学等开展交流合作，与区内外企事业单位共建实践基地，形成校行企协同育人模式。面向未来，学院致力于建设西部地区特色鲜明、较高水平的应用型本科高等学校。

Adhering to open education, the college has established cooperative relationships with universities such as Fujian Normal University, carried out exchanges and cooperation with Chaoyang University of Technology (Taiwan) and Woosong University (South Korea), and built practice bases with enterprises and institutions inside and outside the region, forming a collaborative education model involving schools, industries, and enterprises. Looking forward, the college is committed to building a distinctive and high-level applied undergraduate institution in western China.
