中国人民解放军空军指挥学院（原名空军学院）坐落于北京西郊著名风景区颐和园昆明湖畔，依山傍水，风景秀丽。它是一所培养空军师团职指挥军官的中级指挥院校，是空军培养指挥军官的最高学府。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force Command College (formerly known as the Air Force College) is located by the Kunming Lake of the Summer Palace, a famous scenic spot in the western suburbs of Beijing, with beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and water. It is an intermediate command academy for training Air Force division and regiment-level commanding officers and the highest institution for cultivating Air Force commanding officers.

学院以刘伯承元帅任院长的南京军事学院空军系为基础，于1958年9月12日在北京组建，第一任院长兼政委由空军副司令员刘震上将兼任。建院以来，共为空军部队培养了数万名指挥和参谋人才，其中数百名走上军以上领导岗位，为空军建设提供了强有力的人才和智力支撑。

Based on the Air Force Department of the Nanjing Military Academy led by Marshal Liu Bocheng, the college was established in Beijing on September 12, 1958. The first president and political commissar was concurrently held by Air Force Vice Commander General Liu Zhen. Since its establishment, the college has trained tens of thousands of command and staff personnel for the Air Force, among whom hundreds have taken leading positions at the military level and above, providing strong talent and intellectual support for the development of the Air Force.

学院是首批军队“2110工程”整体条件重点建设院校，设有涵盖军事思想、战略、战役、战术、作战指挥等领域的多个学科专业，拥有研究生学位授权学科及博士后科研流动站，教学科研设施先进，是全军空军指挥人才培养基地和军事学术研究中心。

As one of the first key construction institutions of the military "2110 Project", the college has multiple disciplines covering military thought, strategy, campaign, tactics, operational command and other fields, with graduate degree authorization disciplines and post-doctoral research stations. It has advanced teaching and research facilities and serves as a training base for Air Force command talents and a military academic research center of the whole army.
