中国人民解放军空军预警学院坐落在有“九省通衢”之称的江城武汉，组建于1952年，前身是中国人民解放军防空学校（武汉）和雷达学校（南京），1983年更名为空军雷达学院，1992年升格为军级院校，2011年更名改建为空军预警学院。作为全军预警监视领域唯一专门院校，学院主要承担全军预警和空军电子对抗部队指挥与技术军官培训任务，培养层次覆盖本科到博士后。

The People's Liberation Army Air Force Early Warning Academy is located in Wuhan, a riverside city known as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces". Established in 1952, its predecessors were the People's Liberation Army Air Defense School (Wuhan) and Radar School (Nanjing). It was renamed the Air Force Radar Academy in 1983, upgraded to a corps-level academy in 1992, and restructured and renamed the Air Force Early Warning Academy in 2011. As the only specialized academy in the field of early warning and surveillance of the entire military, the academy mainly undertakes the training of command and technical officers for the military's early warning and the Air Force's electronic countermeasure units, covering training levels from undergraduate to postdoctoral.

学院现有博士后科研流动站3个，博士学位授权点4个，硕士学位授权点8个，本科专业6个，军队（省）级重点学科4个，军队重点实验室3个。师资力量雄厚，拥有中国科学院院士1名，“国家百千万人才工程”人选、国务院政府特殊津贴专家等高层次人才数十名。总占地面积3500余亩，建有国内最大的雷达实装训练基地，各类教学设施先进齐全。

The academy currently has 3 post-doctoral research stations, 4 doctoral degree authorization points, 8 master's degree authorization points, 6 undergraduate majors, 4 military (provincial) key disciplines, and 3 military key laboratories. It boasts a strong faculty, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and dozens of high-level talents such as candidates for the "National Hundred, Thousand, Ten Thousand Talents Project" and experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. Covering a total area of over 3,500 mu, it has built the largest domestic radar equipment training base with various advanced and complete teaching facilities.

经过70余年建设发展，学院已构建起军事学与工学交叉融合的多类型、多层次人才培养体系，形成“三到一长期”育人特色，共为部队培养输送10万余名合格人才，其中34人成长为共和国将军，毕业学员带出的基层连站有14个17次被军委、空军授予荣誉称号。学院先后获评“全国党的建设和思想政治工作先进高等学校”“全军首批本科教学优秀单位”等荣誉。

After more than 70 years of construction and development, the academy has established a multi-type and multi-level talent training system integrating military science and engineering, forming the educational characteristic of "three commitments and one long-term". It has trained and transported over 100,000 qualified talents for the military, among whom 34 have become generals of the People's Republic. The grassroots companies and stations led by its graduates have been awarded honorary titles by the Central Military Commission and the Air Force 17 times for 14 units. The academy has successively won honors such as "National Advanced Higher School in Party Building and Ideological and Political Work" and "First Batch of Excellent Undergraduate Teaching Units of the Military".
