中国人民解放军空军西安飞行学院位于陕西省西安市鄠邑区，是在1946年中国共产党领导的人民解放军创办的东北民主联军航空学校（即“东北老航校”）基础上发展而来的军事类院校。学院于2011年由空军第二飞行学院与空军第五飞行学院合并组建，其前身可追溯至1949年12月成立的“第二轰炸学校”，历经多次调整更名，始终传承“东北老航校精神”，为国家和军队培养航空人才。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force Xi'an Flying College, located in Huyi District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, evolved from the Northeast Democratic United Army Aviation School (known as the "Northeast Old Aviation School") founded by the People's Liberation Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in 1946. Established in 2011 through the merger of the Air Force Second Flying College and the Air Force Fifth Flying College, its predecessor dates back to the "Second Bombing School" founded in December 1949. After multiple adjustments and name changes, it has consistently carried forward the "Northeast Old Aviation School Spirit" to cultivate aviation talent for the nation and the military.

作为空军飞行类初级任职教育院校，学院主要承担航空飞行与指挥、空中战勤人才培养任务，拥有高水平师资队伍和完善的教学体系。建校70余年来，累计为部队输送6万余名优秀航空军事人才，涌现出航天英雄等杰出校友，2021年5月还荣获“陕西省脱贫攻坚先进集体”称号。

As a primary vocational education institution for Air Force flight training, the college primarily undertakes the cultivation of aviation flight and command personnel, as well as air combat service talents, boasting a high-level faculty and a comprehensive teaching system. Over more than 70 years since its establishment, it has trained over 60,000 outstanding aviation military personnel for the armed forces, producing distinguished alumni such as aerospace heroes. In May 2021, it was also awarded the title of "Advanced Collective in Poverty Alleviation in Shaanxi Province".
