中国人民解放军陆军边海防学院是2017年军队院校调整改革后全国全军唯一的边海防高等教育院校（副军级），是全军2110工程重点建设院校，主要面向陆军边海防部队指挥军官岗位，培养基层指挥军官和少数民族指挥军官，同时承担边海防理论研究、精神文化弘扬及对外交流合作职能。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Army Border and Coastal Defense Academy is the only higher education institution for border and coastal defense in China and the whole army after the adjustment and reform of military academies in 2017. It is a key construction academy of the army's "2110 Project". It mainly focuses on the command officer positions of the army's border and coastal defense forces, cultivating grassroots command officers and ethnic minority command officers, while undertaking the functions of border and coastal defense theoretical research, spiritual and cultural promotion, and foreign exchange and cooperation.

学院前身为1941年成立的抗日军政大学第七分校，历经多次调整，2017年由原边防学院、乌鲁木齐综合训练基地、昆明综合训练基地合并组建。院本部位于陕西西安，另设乌鲁木齐、昆明两个校区，总占地面积近4万亩，拥有指挥信息系统工程、作战指挥等本科专业，以及完善的教学科研设施和公共服务体系。

The academy's predecessor was the Seventh Branch of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University established in 1941. After several adjustments, it was formed by merging the former Border Defense Academy, Urumqi Comprehensive Training Base, and Kunming Comprehensive Training Base in 2017. The headquarters is located in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, with two other campuses in Urumqi and Kunming, covering a total area of nearly 40,000 mu. It offers undergraduate majors such as Command Information System Engineering and Operational Command, as well as complete teaching and research facilities and public service systems.
