中国人民解放军南京陆军指挥学院是直属解放军总参谋部的一所中级指挥院校，担负着全军指挥军官中级培训和研究生培养的任务。学院前身是1952年5月成立的总参高级步兵学校，历经多次调整更名，1999年定名为南京陆军指挥学院。

The People's Liberation Army Nanjing Army Command College is an intermediate command academy directly under the General Staff Department of the PLA, tasked with intermediate training for command officers and postgraduate education for the entire army. Its predecessor was the Senior Infantry School of the General Staff established in May 1952, which underwent multiple adjustments and name changes before being designated as the Nanjing Army Command College in 1999.

学院地处江苏省南京市浦口区扬子江北岸，占地160万平方米，是一座园林式营院。院内教学设施、体育场馆、文化娱乐中心和生活服务设施布局合理，院外设有战术训练场、野外驻训和综合训练场，为教学训练提供了良好条件。

Located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Pukou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the college covers an area of 1.6 million square meters and is a garden-style campus. The teaching facilities, sports venues, cultural and entertainment centers, and living service facilities inside the campus are rationally distributed, while tactical training grounds, field training bases, and comprehensive training grounds outside the campus provide excellent conditions for teaching and training.

学院以军事学学科门类为主体，形成了指挥与技术应用理论相配套的学科体系，现有13个学科具有硕士学位授予权，4个学科具有博士学位授予权，其中合同战术学、作战指挥学、国防动员学被列为全军重点建设学科。

With military science as its main discipline, the college has formed a disciplinary system supporting command and technical application theories. It currently has 13 disciplines with master's degree authorization and 4 disciplines with doctoral degree authorization, among which joint tactics, operational command, and national defense mobilization are listed as key construction disciplines of the entire army.

作为全军重点建设院校，学院始终坚持为战育人，注重理论与实践结合，先后完成国家和军队重点课题30余项，出版专著近300本，编写全军通用教材百余本，多项教学科研成果获国家级、军队级奖项。

As a key construction academy of the entire army, the college has always adhered to cultivating talents for warfare, emphasizing the combination of theory and practice. It has completed more than 30 national and military key projects, published nearly 300 monographs, compiled over 100 general teaching materials for the entire army, and many teaching and scientific research achievements have won national and military awards.
