中国人民解放军陆军军医大学（对外可称第三军医大学）是一所具有悠久历史和光荣传统的全国重点大学、军队重点建设院校、全国首批博士学位授权单位、全国首批开办八年制医学教育高校。学校赓续人民陆军1931年创办第一所军医学校的红色军医精神，因战而生、向战而行、为战而强，是为国家和军队培养军事卫勤人才和提供医疗服务的主阵地。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Army Medical University (also known as the Third Military Medical University to the outside world) is a national key university with a long history and glorious tradition, a key construction institution of the military, one of the first national doctoral degree authorization units, and one of the first universities in China to offer eight-year medical education. Inheriting the red military medical spirit of the People's Army's first military medical school founded in 1931, the university was born for war, moves forward for war, and grows stronger for war, serving as the main position for cultivating military medical and health talents and providing medical services for the country and the military.

学校于2017年以第三军医大学为基础重建，校本部位于重庆，纳入白求恩医务士官学校、西部战区陆军综合训练基地军医训练大队、解放军第八医院、解放军第二六〇医院、解放军第三二四医院，形成重庆、河北石家庄、新疆呼图壁、西藏日喀则四地部署格局，占地9079亩。学校拥有一级博士点9个，一级硕士点12个，开设临床医学、预防医学、药学等11个本科专业，其附属西南医院、新桥医院等三甲医院常年位居中国医院排行榜前列。

The university was re-established in 2017 on the basis of the Third Military Medical University, with its headquarters located in Chongqing. It has incorporated Bethune Medical Non-commissioned Officer School, the Military Medical Training Brigade of the Comprehensive Training Base of the Western Theater Command Army, the 8th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, the 260th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and the 324th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, forming a deployment pattern in four places: Chongqing, Shijiazhuang (Hebei), Hutubi (Xinjiang), and Shigatse (Tibet), covering an area of 9,079 mu. The university has 9 first-level doctoral programs and 12 first-level master programs, offering 11 undergraduate majors such as clinical medicine, preventive medicine, and pharmacy. Its affiliated hospitals, including Southwest Hospital and Xinqiao Hospital, are Grade III Class A hospitals and have long been ranked among the top in China's hospital rankings.

作为军事医学人才培养基地，学校坚持“政治坚定、技术优良”的办学方针，构建了特色鲜明的军事医学教育体系，在战创伤医学、军事预防医学、野战外科学等领域优势突出。学员实行军事化管理，培养过程融合军事素养与医学技能训练，毕业学员为军队医疗卫生事业和国家医疗健康保障作出重要贡献。
