中国人民解放军陆军特种作战学院是全军唯一一所特种作战、情报侦察领域的高等教育院校，面向陆军、海军陆战队、空军空降兵培养特种作战、情报侦察领域军官和士官，承担全军狙击作战、军事体育领域人才培养任务，是全军侦察特战人才培养基地、全军高中级狙击手培训中心、全军军事体育人才培训中心、特种作战理论和战法训法研创中心。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Army Special Operations College is the only higher education institution in the entire military specializing in special operations and intelligence reconnaissance. It trains officers and non-commissioned officers in special operations and intelligence reconnaissance for the Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force paratroopers. It undertakes talent cultivation tasks in the fields of sniper operations and military sports for the entire military, serving as a training base for reconnaissance and special operations talents, a training center for senior and intermediate snipers, a training center for military sports talents, and a research and innovation center for special operations theories and tactics.

学院由原特种作战学院和桂林综合训练基地于2017年7月合并组建，编制等级为副军级，主校区位于广西桂林，横跨广西、广东和湖南，设有8个营区，总面积达1.3万余亩，拥有军事共同、专业技术训练场90余个，多种作战地形综合训练场4个，为培养全域作战的特战精英打造实战化训练环境。

The college was established in July 2017 through the merger of the former Special Operations College and the Guilin Comprehensive Training Base, with a organizational level of deputy army corps. Its main campus is located in Guilin, Guangxi, spanning Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hunan with 8 camp areas covering a total area of over 13,000 mu. It has more than 90 military common and professional technical training grounds, and 4 comprehensive training grounds with various combat terrains, creating a practical training environment for cultivating special operations elites capable of all-domain operations.
