中国人民解放军信息支援部队工程大学于2025年以国防科技大学信息通信学院、陆军工程大学通信士官学校为基础调整组建，校本部位于湖北武汉，是战略性兵种信息支援部队唯一直属大学，担负军队网络信息体系新域新质人才培养重任，是我军信息网络、通信工程、数据智能、软件系统等网信军官培养摇篮。

The Information Support Force Engineering University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was restructured and established in 2025 based on the Information and Communication College of the National University of Defense Technology and the Communication Non-Commissioned Officer School of the Army Engineering University. With its headquarters located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, it is the only university directly under the strategic arms Information Support Force, undertaking the important task of cultivating new domain and new quality talents for the military's network information system, and serving as a cradle for training military network information officers in fields such as information networks, communication engineering, data intelligence, and software systems.

学校聚焦网络信息体系新域新质领域，开设通信工程、光电信息科学与工程、数据链工程、电磁频谱工程、信息安全等10个本科专业，承接建设6大学科群，形成以网络信息技术为主导，覆盖网信各领域的新型学科专业体系，面向社会招收普通高中毕业生。其前身可追溯至1931年创立的红一方面军无线电训练班，90余载办学历程中累计输送20余万名信息通信人才。

Focusing on new domains and new quality areas of network information systems, the university offers 10 undergraduate majors including Communication Engineering, Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, Data Link Engineering, Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineering, and Information Security. It undertakes the construction of 6 discipline groups, forming a new discipline system led by network information technology and covering all areas of network information. The university enrolls ordinary high school graduates from the society. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Radio Training Class of the First Front Army of the Red Army founded in 1931, and has cultivated more than 200,000 information and communication talents over its more than 90-year history.

学校拥有一支高水平师资队伍，截至2023年6月，有2000余名教学科研人员，包括中国科学院院士1人、中国工程院院士1人，博士生导师190余人、硕士生导师370余人，以及国家级教学名师、全军科技领军人才等各类高层次专家，建有7个国家级、军队（省）级重点实验室，近年来获国家、军队（省）级奖项300余项，被评为全军教学优秀单位。

The university has a high-level faculty. As of June 2023, there are more than 2,000 teaching and research personnel, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, more than 190 doctoral supervisors, more than 370 master supervisors, as well as various high-level experts such as national-level teaching masters and military science and technology leaders. It has 7 national, military (provincial) key laboratories, and has won more than 300 national, military (provincial) awards in recent years, and was rated as an excellent military teaching unit.
