中国人民解放军海军指挥学院是海军最高学府，主要担负培养海军中高级指挥干部、海军军以上机关参谋及军事学硕士、博士研究生的任务。学院坐落在南京市，占地面积48万多平方米。

The PLA Naval Command College is the highest institution of the Chinese Navy, primarily tasked with training senior and intermediate naval command officers, staff officers of naval corps-level and above organs, as well as master's and doctoral students in military science. Located in Nanjing, the college covers an area of over 480,000 square meters.

学院的前身是刘伯承元帅任院长的中国人民解放军军事学院海军系，创立于1952年5月16日。1957年10月8日，海军系扩建为海军军事学院；1960年10月1日改称海军学院；1986年6月9日正式定名为海军指挥学院。学院成立以来，始终受到党和国家领导人的亲切关怀，毛泽东、刘少奇、朱德等老一辈无产阶级革命家曾多次视察或接见学院师生，1991年5月20日，江泽民同志亲笔题写院名。

The college traces its origins to the Naval Department of the PLA Military Academy, founded on May 16, 1952, with Marshal Liu Bocheng as its president. On October 8, 1957, the Naval Department was expanded into the Naval Military Academy; it was renamed the Naval Academy on October 1, 1960; and officially designated as the Naval Command College on June 9, 1986. Since its establishment, the college has received cordial care from Party and state leaders. Revolutionary elders such as Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, and Zhu De inspected or met with faculty and students on multiple occasions. On May 20, 1991, Comrade Jiang Zemin inscribed the college's name in his own handwriting.

学院坚持“教育要面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来”的办学方向，拥有完善的教学科研设施，包括图书馆、海军战役战术中心实验室、教育技术中心等，其中图书馆藏书42.5万册，形成以海军战略、战役、战术研究为特色的馆藏体系。学院还办有《海军学术研究》等重要期刊，是全军重点学术刊物之一。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "facing modernization, the world, and the future," the college boasts comprehensive teaching and research facilities, including a library with 425,000 volumes, a Naval Campaign and Tactics Center Laboratory, and an Educational Technology Center. The library's collection features a specialized system focused on naval strategy, campaigns, and tactics. The college also publishes important journals such as "Naval Academic Research," one of the key academic publications of the PLA.

作为海军中高级指挥人才的培养基地和军事学术研究中心，学院为人民海军的现代化建设作出了重要贡献，毕业学员在重大军事行动和海上演习中展现了卓越的指挥能力，同时积极开展国际军事交流，接待多国军事代表团来访，提升了中国海军的国际影响力。

As a training base for senior and intermediate naval command talents and a center for military academic research, the college has made significant contributions to the modernization of the People's Navy. Its graduates have demonstrated outstanding command capabilities in major military operations and maritime exercises. Additionally, the college actively engages in international military exchanges, hosting military delegations from various countries and enhancing the international influence of the Chinese Navy.
