中国人民解放军海军潜艇学院创建于1953年，位于山东省青岛市，是中国海军潜艇和防险救生部队军官、士官、士兵的摇篮，也是军队“2110工程”整体条件重点建设院校、亚洲唯一的潜艇专业军事高等教育院校。学院主要面向海军潜艇、防险救生、航空反潜部队及水下新质作战力量培养指挥军官和军士，设有博士后科研流动站，拥有博士、硕士学位授权点，开设电子信息工程、水声工程、航海技术等本科专业，已为潜艇和防救部队培养近10万名军事指挥和专业技术人才，其中近100名成长为共和国将军。

Founded in 1953 and located in Qingdao, Shandong Province, the PLA Naval Submarine Academy is the cradle of officers, petty officers, and soldiers for the Chinese Navy's submarine and rescue forces. It is a key construction institution under the military's "2110 Project" and the only military higher education institution specializing in submarine studies in Asia. The academy mainly trains commanding officers and non-commissioned officers for the Navy's submarine, rescue, anti-submarine aviation units, and new underwater combat forces. It has post-doctoral research stations, doctoral and master's degree authorization points, and offers undergraduate majors such as Electronic Information Engineering, Underwater Acoustics Engineering, and Navigation Technology. It has cultivated nearly 100,000 military command and professional technical talents for submarine and rescue forces, with nearly 100 growing into generals of the People's Republic.

学院聚焦水下作战，秉持“为学员一生奠基、为部队打赢尽责”的育人理念，着力建成水下作战领域的人才培养基地、军事理论研究基地、装备应用技术创新基地和特色文化汇聚传播基地。学院教学科研条件优越，拥有军队重点实验室、大型综合训练中心及海上训练场等设施，师资队伍中85%以上具有博士、硕士学位，40%以上具有高级专业技术职务，多人获全国、全军优秀教员等荣誉，2023年笪良龙教授当选中国工程院院士。

Focusing on underwater operations, the academy adheres to the educational philosophy of "Laying the foundation for students' lives and fulfilling responsibilities for the troops to win", striving to become a talent training base, military theory research base, equipment application technology innovation base, and characteristic culture gathering and dissemination base in the field of underwater operations. The academy has superior teaching and research conditions, with military key laboratories, large-scale comprehensive training centers, and maritime training grounds. Over 85% of the faculty have doctoral or master's degrees, more than 40% have senior professional technical positions, and many have won honors such as National and Military Outstanding Teachers. In 2023, Professor Da Lianglong was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
