中国人民解放军火箭军士官学校主营区地处国家历史文化名城、古九州之一的山东青州，是全军开展士官教育、创办士官专科本科教育的院校，也是全军军事学会士官教育委员会所在地，担负着为战略导弹部队培养士官骨干和操作号手的神圣使命，被誉为“火箭军士官的摇篮”。

The main campus of the Rocket Force Non-Commissioned Officer School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is located in Qingzhou, Shandong, a famous national historical and cultural city and one of the ancient Nine Provinces. It is an institution in the entire army that carries out non-commissioned officer education and offers junior college and undergraduate education for non-commissioned officers. It is also the seat of the Non-Commissioned Officer Education Committee of the Military Society of the entire army. It undertakes the sacred mission of cultivating non-commissioned officer backbones and operational operators for strategic missile forces and is known as "the cradle of Rocket Force non-commissioned officers".

学校始建于1970年9月，历经3次迁址、辗转4省、6次更名、6次整编，2017年7月恢复独立办学，是军改中唯一一所恢复独立办学资格的军校。学校开设导弹、通信、工程、装备维修等专业，形成军士职业技术教育、升级培训、指挥管理培训、专项培训、入伍训练与岗前培训“五类一体”人才培养格局，规划年培训员额2万余人。

Founded in September 1970, the school has gone through 3 relocations, moved across 4 provinces, changed its name 6 times, and been reorganized 6 times. It resumed independent school-running in July 2017 and is the only military academy that regained independent school-running qualification during the military reform. The school offers majors such as missile, communication, engineering, and equipment maintenance, forming a "five-in-one" talent training pattern including军士 vocational and technical education, upgrade training, command and management training, special training, enlistment training and pre-job training, with a planned annual training capacity of over 20,000 people.

自恢复独立办学以来，学校已为火箭军培养了大批政治素质高、专业技能精、管理能力强的军士骨干人才，涌现出“八一勋章”获得者“兵王”王忠心等先进典型。学校现有教授级师资队伍70余人，享有国务院政府特殊津贴4人，军队院校育才奖金奖5人，全军爱军精武标兵、全军优秀教员等10余人，为提升导弹部队战斗力、增强火箭军战略威慑力作出重要贡献。

Since resuming independent school-running, the school has cultivated a large number of non-commissioned officer backbone talents with high political quality, excellent professional skills and strong management ability for the Rocket Force, and advanced models such as Wang Zhongxin, the "Soldier King" and winner of the "August 1st Medal" have emerged. The school currently has more than 70 professor-level faculty members, 4 people enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 5 winners of the Gold Award for Educating Talents in Military Academies, and more than 10 people including the全军爱军精武标兵 and outstanding military instructors, making important contributions to enhancing the combat effectiveness of missile units and strengthening the strategic deterrence of the Rocket Force.
