青岛电影学院是由教育部批准设立的本科层次影视艺术特色高等学校，位于青岛市西海岸新区金沙滩畔，前身为2010年创办的北京电影学院现代创意媒体学院，2021年5月完成转设并更名，由青岛市直国有大型企业青岛海发集团全资举办，是山东省唯一一所影视类本科高校。学校以影视艺术为主，涵盖艺术学、管理学、法学、文学、工学等5大学科门类，设有9个教学机构及3个教辅机构，致力于培养高素质影视艺术类应用型专业人才。

Qingdao Film Academy is an undergraduate-level higher education institution with distinctive features in film and television arts approved by the Ministry of Education. Located beside the Golden Sand Beach in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, it was formerly the Modern Creative Media College of Beijing Film Academy founded in 2010. In May 2021, it was transformed and renamed, and is fully owned by Qingdao Haifa Group, a large state-owned enterprise directly under Qingdao Municipality. As the only undergraduate film and television college in Shandong Province, the academy focuses on film and television arts, covering 5 disciplines including Arts, Management, Law, Literature, and Engineering, with 9 teaching institutions and 3 auxiliary teaching organizations, dedicated to cultivating high-quality applied professionals in film and television arts.

学校师资力量雄厚，系主任及学科带头人多由北京电影学院资深教授担任，配备国际一流教学设备，如迪生MOCO运动轨道拍摄系统、巴可电影放映机等。注重实践教学，累计资助学生完成300余部影像作品，斩获国内外数百项大奖，包括美国洛杉矶短片电影节最佳导演奖、戛纳国际电影节短片角单元入围等。依托东方影都影视基地，构建“四链贯通”产教融合体系，获评校友会“中国艺术类最好民办大学第一名”。

The academy boasts a strong faculty, with department directors and discipline leaders mostly served by senior professors from Beijing Film Academy. It is equipped with world-class teaching facilities, such as Disheng MOCO motion track shooting system and Barco film projectors. Emphasizing practical teaching, it has funded students to complete over 300 video works, winning hundreds of domestic and international awards, including the Best Director Award at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival and selection into the Short Film Corner of the Cannes International Film Festival. Relying on the Oriental Movie Metropolis film base, it has built an integrated industry-education system of "four-chain integration" and was rated as the "Top Private University in China for Arts" by the Alumni Association.
