秦皇岛工业职业技术学院是经河北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，始建于1958年，前身为秦皇岛技师学院，2023年改建为现校名。学院坐落于河北省秦皇岛市海港区，占地325亩，建筑面积近14万平方米，教学科研仪器设备5000余台（套），是国家高技能人才培训基地、全国职业教育先进单位，先后荣获国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖等国家级荣誉十余项。

Qinhuangdao Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Hebei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1958, it was formerly Qinhuangdao Technician College and was renamed to its current name in 2023. Located in Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, the college covers an area of 325 mu with a building area of nearly 140,000 square meters and over 5,000 sets of teaching and research instruments and equipment. It is a national high-skilled talent training base, an advanced unit of national vocational education, and has won more than ten national honors including the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talent Cultivation.

学院以工科为特色，设有机械工程系、电气工程系、汽车工程系等教学单位，开设新能源汽车技术、数控技术、工业过程自动化技术等重点专业。建有智能制造、汽车工程等实验实训中心及百余个实训室，图书馆面积4700余平方米，室内体育场馆5000余平方米。现有教职工397人，副高级及以上职称教师192人，双师型教师80人，形成了一支素质优良、技艺精湛的师资队伍。

With engineering as its characteristic, the college has teaching units such as the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, and Department of Automotive Engineering, offering key majors like New Energy Vehicle Technology, Numerical Control Technology, and Industrial Process Automation Technology. It has established experimental training centers for intelligent manufacturing and automotive engineering, as well as over 100 training rooms. The library covers an area of more than 4,700 square meters, and the indoor stadium covers over 5,000 square meters. The college has 397 faculty members, including 192 teachers with associate senior titles or above and 80 dual-qualified teachers, forming an excellent and skilled teaching team.
