黔南民族师范学院位于贵州省黔南布依族苗族自治州首府都匀市，是2000年3月经教育部批准成立的本科层次民族师范院校，也是贵州省第一所升本的地方高校，其办学历史可追溯至1952年。学校以“师范性、民族性、地方性、应用型”为办学特色，秉持“崇德博学、敬业创新”的校训，致力于培养扎根民族地区、服务基础教育和地方经济社会文化发展的高素质应用型人才。校园总占地90.13万平方米，校舍总面积45.52万平方米，东偎莲花山，南临剑江河，环境优美，交通便利。

Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities is located in Duyun City, the capital of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. Approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2000, it is an undergraduate-level normal university for nationalities and the first local university in Guizhou Province to be upgraded to undergraduate level, with its educational history dating back to 1952. Featuring "normal education, ethnic characteristics, locality, and application-oriented", the university adheres to the motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Dedication, and Innovation", committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents rooted in ethnic regions, serving basic education and local economic, social and cultural development. The campus covers a total area of 901,300 square meters with a building area of 455,200 square meters, adjacent to Lianhua Mountain in the east and facing Jianjiang River in the south, enjoying a beautiful environment and convenient transportation.
