齐齐哈尔大学始建于1952年，是黑龙江省西部地区唯一一所省属综合性普通高等学校，坐落于黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市。学校紧密围绕国家和地方经济社会发展需求，形成了以理工为主，理工、经管、文法、艺术、教育等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质应用型人才。

Qiqihar University, founded in 1952, is the only provincial comprehensive ordinary institution of higher learning in western Heilongjiang Province, located in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. Closely centering on the needs of national and local economic and social development, the university has formed a disciplinary and professional system with science and engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as science and engineering, economics and management, liberal arts and law, art, and education, cultivating a large number of high-quality applied talents for regional economic and social development.

学校现有三个校区，占地面积139.55万平方米，建筑面积85.08万平方米。设有23个学院（部），77个本科专业，涵盖11个学科门类。拥有18个一级学科硕士学位授权点，9个专业硕士学位授权类别，全日制在校生25000余人，教职工1500余人，其中高级职称教师600余人，具有博士、硕士学位教师占专任教师总数的90%以上。

The university currently has three campuses, covering an area of 1.3955 million square meters with a building area of 850,800 square meters. It has 23 colleges (departments) and 77 undergraduate majors, covering 11 disciplines. It has 18 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points and 9 professional master's degree authorization categories, with more than 25,000 full-time students and more than 1,500 faculty members, including more than 600 teachers with senior professional titles, and teachers with doctoral and master's degrees account for more than 90% of the total number of full-time teachers.

学校始终坚持以人才培养为中心，深化教育教学改革，着力提升人才培养质量。近年来，荣获国家级教学成果奖2项，省级教学成果奖40余项。大力推进科研创新，拥有省级重点实验室、工程技术研究中心等科研平台20余个，近五年承担国家级、省部级科研项目300余项，发表高水平学术论文2000余篇，获得授权专利300余项。

The university has always adhered to talent cultivation as the center, deepened education and teaching reform, and strived to improve the quality of talent cultivation. In recent years, it has won 2 national teaching achievement awards and more than 40 provincial teaching achievement awards. Vigorously promoting scientific research innovation, it has more than 20 scientific research platforms such as provincial key laboratories and engineering technology research centers. In the past five years, it has undertaken more than 300 national and provincial scientific research projects, published more than 2,000 high-level academic papers, and obtained more than 300 authorized patents.

学校积极开展对外交流与合作，与俄罗斯、韩国、日本、美国、加拿大等10多个国家的50余所高校建立了校际合作关系，开展学生交换、教师互访、学术交流等合作项目，国际化办学水平不断提升。
