泉州幼儿师范高等专科学校是一所百年老校，建校于1890年，前身为泉州培英女校、福建泉州幼儿师范学校。2005年升格改名为泉州儿童发展职业学院，开启高等师范教育发展新篇章。2011年教育部批准同意更名为泉州幼儿师范高等专科学校。学校是福建省示范性现代职业院校、福建省“双高计划”立项建设院校。

Quanzhou Preschool Education College is a century-old institution founded in 1890, formerly known as Quanzhou Pui Ying Girls' School and Fujian Quanzhou Preschool Normal School. In 2005, it was upgraded and renamed Quanzhou Children's Development Vocational College, marking a new chapter in the development of higher normal education. In 2011, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming to Quanzhou Preschool Education College. It is a model modern vocational college in Fujian Province and a project construction college of Fujian's "Double High Plan".

目前，学校有东海和永春两个校区，设置1所附属实验幼儿园，形成“一校两区一园”的办学格局。建筑面积23.92万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值12152万元，馆藏电子和纸质图书119.79万册。校内实训基地56个，校外实践基地237个。学校面向全国15个省招生，下设7个二级院部，设置学前教育、小学教育等29个专业，全日制在校生9859人，教职员工450人，其中专任教师313人、高级专业技术职称教师120人、双师素质教师239人、硕士以上学位教师260人。

Currently, the college has two campuses (Donghai and Yongchun) and one affiliated experimental kindergarten, forming a school-running pattern of "one college, two campuses and one kindergarten". The building area is 239,200 square meters, the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 121.52 million yuan, and the collection of electronic and paper books is 1.1979 million. There are 56 on-campus training bases and 237 off-campus practice bases. The college enrolls students from 15 provinces across the country, with 7 secondary colleges and departments, offering 29 majors such as preschool education and primary school education. There are 9,859 full-time students and 450 faculty members, including 313 full-time teachers, 120 teachers with senior professional titles, 239 "double-qualified" teachers, and 260 teachers with master's degree or above.

学校是福建省幼教师资培训基地、泉州市小学、幼儿园骨干教师培训基地，承担全国、福建省幼儿园师资，泉州市小学（幼儿园）师资培训任务。与马来西亚玛拉理工大学、日本相爱大学等国（境）外院校签订教育交流与合作协议，是中国-东盟幼儿教师发展中心福建省分中心。传承“爱国强校、爱拼敢赢、爱严相济”的“三爱”精神，遵循“自强进取、树己树人”的校训，先后荣获“全国师范教育系统先进单位”“福建省文明校园”等称号。

The college is a training base for preschool teachers in Fujian Province and a training base for key teachers in primary schools and kindergartens in Quanzhou City. It undertakes the training tasks for kindergarten teachers nationwide and in Fujian Province, as well as primary school (kindergarten) teachers in Quanzhou City. It has signed educational exchange and cooperation agreements with overseas institutions such as Malaysia's Universiti Teknologi MARA and Japan's Aich Gakuin University, and is the Fujian Branch of the China-ASEAN Preschool Teachers Development Center. Inheriting the "Three Loves" spirit of "loving the country and strengthening the school, loving to strive and daring to win, loving and strict", and following the school motto of "self-improvement and progress, establishing oneself and cultivating people", it has successively won titles such as "Advanced Unit of the National Normal Education System" and "Civilized Campus of Fujian Province".
