Robert Gordon University (RGU) is a public comprehensive university located in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Its history dates back to the educational institution founded by Robert Gordon in 1750, and it was officially granted university status in 1992. The university covers three major disciplines: medical sciences, engineering and technological sciences, and humanities and social sciences, offering multi-level education from undergraduate, master's to doctoral degrees, with various training methods such as full-time, part-time and distance learning. Its educational feature lies in close cooperation with industries, focusing on vocational teaching and applied research. The university consists of three major faculties: Aberdeen Business School, School of Design and Technology, and School of Social Health Sciences, offering approximately 140 degree programs in accounting, architecture, art and design, biomedicine, engineering, health sciences, pharmacy, etc. The campus is located in Aberdeen, with modern teaching facilities including virtual campus, multimedia classrooms, simulation laboratories, etc. It provides 5 accommodation areas for students, equipped with study rooms, canteens and 24-hour network services. The Students' Union has more than 30 clubs and societies covering sports, art and other fields. Meanwhile, as the "Oil Capital of Europe", Aberdeen provides abundant part-time and internship opportunities for students.
