华南师范大学始建于1933年，前身是广东省立勷勤大学师范学院，是国家“双一流”建设高校、“211工程”重点建设大学，也是广东省人民政府和教育部共建高校。学校现有广州石牌、广州大学城和佛山南海三个校区，占地面积3025亩，校舍建筑面积134万平方米，环境优美，设施完善。

South China Normal University (SCNU) was founded in 1933, formerly known as the Normal College of Guangdong Provincial Xiangqin University. It is a national "Double First-Class" construction university, a key university under the "211 Project", and a joint university co-constructed by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and the Ministry of Education. The university currently has three campuses: Shipai in Guangzhou, Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, and Nanhai in Foshan, covering an area of 3025 mu with a building area of 1.34 million square meters, featuring a beautiful environment and complete facilities.

学校学科门类齐全，涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、艺术学等12个学科门类。其中，教育学、心理学、体育学等学科实力雄厚，在国内处于领先地位。学校拥有一支高素质的师资队伍，现有教职工5000余人，其中专任教师2500余人，具有高级职称的教师占比超过60%。

The university offers a comprehensive range of disciplines, covering 12 fields including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and art. Among them, disciplines such as education, psychology, and physical education are strong and leading in China. The university has a high-quality faculty of more than 5,000 staff, including over 2,500 full-time teachers, with more than 60% of them holding senior professional titles.
