广州南方学院（原中山大学南方学院）是2006年经教育部批准设立的综合性应用型普通本科高等学校，是广东省高等教育体制综合改革试点院校、广东省首批普通本科转型试点高校。学校以本科教育为主，研究生教育协同发展，现设有12个院系46个本科招生专业，形成了以管理学、文学、工学为主，经济学、医学、艺术学协调发展的学科体系。2021年获批成为广东省民办高校第一批硕士学位授予立项建设单位，2022年开始与广州大学联合培养全日制专业学位硕士研究生。

Guangzhou Nanfang College (formerly Sun Yat-sen University Nanfang College) is a comprehensive application-oriented ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006. It is a pilot institution for the comprehensive reform of higher education system in Guangdong Province and one of the first batch of pilot universities for undergraduate transformation in Guangdong. Focusing on undergraduate education with coordinated development of postgraduate education, the college now has 12 departments offering 46 undergraduate programs, forming a disciplinary system dominated by management, literature, and engineering, with coordinated development of economics, medicine, and art. In 2021, it was approved as the first batch of master's degree authorization project construction units among private universities in Guangdong, and began joint training of full-time professional master's students with Guangzhou University in 2022.

学校位于广州市从化区，校园占地1092亩，环境秀丽宁静，教学设施完善，拥有16栋教学楼、38栋学生宿舍楼、12处体育场馆及127间专业实训实验室，馆藏图书412万余册。中国科学院院士、欧洲科学院院士汤涛全职担任校长，师资队伍以院士领衔，汇聚长江学者、国家重点研发计划首席科学家等高层次人才，形成了一支毕业于双一流大学及海外名校的中青年专任教师为主体的教学团队。

Located in Conghua District, Guangzhou, the college covers an area of 1092 mu with a beautiful and tranquil campus environment and complete teaching facilities, including 16 teaching buildings, 38 student dormitory buildings, 12 sports venues, and 127 professional training laboratories, with a collection of over 4.12 million books. Academician Tang Tao of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the European Academy of Sciences serves as the president on a full-time basis. The faculty team is led by academicians and gathers high-level talents such as Yangtze River Scholars and chief scientists of national key R&D programs, forming a teaching team mainly composed of young and middle-aged full-time teachers graduated from double first-class universities and overseas prestigious institutions.

学校秉持"应用型+博雅教育+国际化"三位一体培养模式，深入拓展国际教育合作，与美国、加拿大、英国等十余个国家和地区的30余所高校开展双学位联合培养、本硕连读等合作项目。近年来重点发展与人工智能及大数据相交叉的工科、商科和医科专业，毕业生近90%服务于粤港澳大湾区建设，用人单位总体满意度达98%，是广东省高等教育多样化发展的旗帜性院校。

Adhering to the "application-oriented + liberal arts education + internationalization" trinity training model, the college has deeply expanded international educational cooperation, carrying out joint double-degree programs and undergraduate-master continuous study programs with more than 30 universities in over 10 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. In recent years, it has focused on developing engineering, business, and medical majors intersecting with artificial intelligence and big data. Nearly 90% of its graduates serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with an overall employer satisfaction rate of 98%, making it a flagship institution for the diversified development of higher education in Guangdong Province.
