山东城市建设职业学院是山东省住房和城乡建设厅直属的公办高职院校，前身为始建于1980年的山东省城市建设学校和1984年的山东省环境保护学校，2006年升格为高等职业院校。学校主校区位于济南市历城区彩石街道，占地近1200亩，校舍面积30万平方米，绿化覆盖率达68%，校园内有163种园林植物及2万平方米人工湖“彩珠湖”，获评山东省平安校园示范校、职业教育信息化标杆校。

Shandong Urban Construction Vocational College is a public vocational college directly under Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Its predecessors are Shandong Urban Construction School founded in 1980 and Shandong Environmental Protection School founded in 1984. It was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2006. The main campus is located in Caishi Street, Licheng District, Jinan, covering an area of nearly 1,200 mu with a building area of 300,000 square meters and a green coverage rate of 68%. The campus has 163 species of garden plants and a 20,000-square-meter artificial lake "Caizhu Lake", and has been awarded as Shandong Provincial Safe Campus Model School and Vocational Education Informatization Benchmark School.

学校以培养建设领域高技能人才为特色，形成“一中心四支点”专业布局，开设城乡规划、建筑工程技术、环境监测技术等43个专业，其中国家级骨干专业4个、省级特色专业5个，专本贯通培养专业12个。现有全日制在校生近14000人，教职员工851人，双师型教师占比超62%，拥有2个省级黄大年式教师团队及152个实验实训室，教学科研仪器设备值1.64亿元。建校以来累计培养技术技能人才15万人，获评省级文明校园、全国建设人才工作先进单位。

With the characteristic of cultivating high-skilled talents in the construction field, the college has formed a professional layout of "one center and four fulcrums", offering 43 majors including urban and rural planning, construction engineering technology, and environmental monitoring technology, among which there are 4 national-level key majors, 5 provincial-level characteristic majors, and 12 specialized-undergraduate integrated training majors. Currently, it has nearly 14,000 full-time students and 851 faculty members, with "double-qualified" teachers accounting for over 62%. It has 2 provincial-level Huang Danian-style teacher teams and 152 experimental training rooms, with teaching and research equipment worth 164 million yuan. Since its establishment, it has cultivated 150,000 technical and skilled talents, and has been awarded as a provincial civilized campus and a national advanced unit for construction talent work.
