山东电力高等专科学校是国家公办全日制普通高校，隶属国家电网有限公司，前身为1958年始建的山东省青岛动力高等专科学校，1994年重新升格为现名，1997年本部迁至济南。学校实行济南、泰安两地办学，总占地面积107万平方米，校园环境优美，教学、实训设施齐全，是山东省文明单位和园林式校园。

Shandong Electric Power College is a public full-time ordinary college affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China. Its predecessor was Shandong Qingdao Power Junior College founded in 1958, which was re-upgraded to its current name in 1994 and moved its headquarters to Jinan in 1997. The college operates campuses in Jinan and Tai'an, covering a total area of 1.07 million square meters. It boasts a beautiful campus environment with complete teaching and training facilities, and is recognized as a civilized unit and garden-style campus in Shandong Province.

学校办学条件优越，建有变电运行、继电保护、输配电线路运检等专业实训室（场）279个，部分实训基地填补国内空白，达到国内领先水平。现有6个系部，开设发电厂及电力系统、供用电技术等12个专业，其中国家级精品课程2门、省部级精品课程17门，省级特色专业5个，“变配电运维”专业群入选山东省高等职业教育高水平专业群。

The college enjoys superior办学条件, with 279 professional training rooms/workshops for substation operation, relay protection, power transmission and distribution line operation and maintenance, etc. Some training bases have filled domestic gaps and reached leading domestic levels. It currently has 6 departments offering 12 majors including Power Plant and Power System, Power Supply and Utilization Technology, etc. It also has 2 national-level excellent courses, 17 provincial-level excellent courses, 5 provincial-level characteristic majors, and the "Substation and Distribution Operation and Maintenance" professional group has been selected into Shandong Provincial Higher Vocational Education High-level Professional Groups.

学校师资力量雄厚，拥有“双师型”教师队伍，其中省级教学团队3个，山东省教学名师4人，省部级专家人才27人，智能电网保护与控制教师团队荣获“全国高校黄大年式教师团队”称号。学校与国家电网有限公司技术学院分公司实行一体化运作，构建了“校企一体、五化并进”的人才培养模式，毕业生就业去向落实率始终保持在96%以上，主要面向国家电网、南方电网等大中型企业。

The college has a strong teaching staff with "double-qualified" teachers, including 3 provincial-level teaching teams, 4 Shandong Provincial Teaching Masters, and 27 provincial-level experts. The Smart Grid Protection and Control teacher team has been awarded the title of "National College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team". The college operates integrally with the Technical College Branch of State Grid Corporation of China, establishing a talent training model of "school-enterprise integration and five-dimensional advancement". The employment rate of graduates has always remained above 96%, mainly oriented to large and medium-sized enterprises such as State Grid and China Southern Power Grid.
