山东特殊教育职业学院隶属于山东省残疾人联合会，是全国残联系统开办最早的残疾人职业教育学校之一，2015年1月经山东省政府批准在山东省特殊教育中等专业学校的基础上建立，系副厅级公益一类事业单位，是山东省唯一一所公办特殊教育高职院校。学院设5个系，开设工艺美术品设计、康复治疗技术、特殊教育、计算机应用技术等11个专业，在校生2300余人，建有省级高水平专业群2个、省级品牌专业群2个。

Shandong Vocational College of Special Education is affiliated to Shandong Disabled Persons' Federation and is one of the earliest vocational education schools for the disabled in the national disabled persons' federation system. Approved by the Shandong Provincial Government in January 2015, it was established on the basis of Shandong Special Education Secondary Professional School. As a public welfare first-class institution at the deputy department level, it is the only public higher vocational college for special education in Shandong Province. The college has 5 departments, offering 11 majors including Arts and Crafts Design, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Special Education, and Computer Application Technology, with over 2,300 students. It has built 2 provincial-level high-level professional groups and 2 provincial-level brand professional groups.

学院在职教职工279人，其中专任教师201人，硕士及以上学位155人，教师队伍中涌现出全国自强模范、全国技术能手等优秀人才。教育教学成果显著，获国家级教学成果奖（职业教育）一等奖1项、二等奖2项，省级教学成果奖特等奖1项，学生在省级及以上技能竞赛中获奖近200项，毕业生就业率保持在96%以上。学院是国家残疾人体育培训基地、全国职业院校残疾人康复人才培养改革试点单位，先后荣获全国教育系统先进集体、全国特殊教育先进单位等20多项国家级荣誉。

The college has 279 in-service faculty and staff, including 201 full-time teachers, 155 of whom have master's degrees or above. Outstanding talents such as National Model of Self-Improvement and National Technical Experts have emerged from the teaching team. The college has achieved remarkable results in education and teaching, winning 1 first prize and 2 second prizes of National Teaching Achievement Awards (Vocational Education), and 1 special prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. Students have won nearly 200 awards in provincial and above skill competitions, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 96%. The college is a National Disabled Persons' Sports Training Base and a National Pilot Unit for the Training Reform of Rehabilitation Talents for the Disabled in Vocational Colleges. It has successively won more than 20 national honors such as National Advanced Collective in Education System and National Advanced Unit in Special Education.
