山东理工大学是山东省重点建设的理工科大学，坐落于历史悠久的齐文化发祥地——淄博市。学校以工为主，理工结合，涵盖文、经、管、法、教、艺等多学科协调发展，是国家国防科技工业局与山东省人民政府共建高校，山东省高水平大学建设单位。

Shandong University of Technology is a key construction university of science and engineering in Shandong Province, located in Zibo City, the birthplace of the long-standing Qi culture. With engineering as the main focus and integration of science and engineering, the university has a coordinated development of multiple disciplines including liberal arts, economics, management, law, education, and art. It is a university jointly built by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Shandong Province, and a high-level university construction unit in Shandong Province.

学校始建于1956年，历经山东农业机械化学院、山东工程学院等发展阶段，2002年更名为山东理工大学。现有27个学院，83个本科专业，拥有博士后科研流动站3个，博士学位授权一级学科4个，硕士学位授权一级学科25个，硕士专业学位授权类别22个，形成了完善的人才培养体系。

Founded in 1956, the university has gone through development stages such as Shandong Agricultural Mechanization College and Shandong Institute of Engineering, and was renamed Shandong University of Technology in 2002. Currently, it has 27 colleges and 83 undergraduate majors, with 3 post-doctoral research stations, 4 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, 25 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degrees, and 22 categories of master's professional degree authorizations, forming a complete talent training system.
