山东畜牧兽医职业学院是由山东省人民政府举办的全日制公办普通高等职业学校，为中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划建设单位、国家骨干高职院校、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校、山东省优质高职院校、山东省乡村振兴示范校。学校1955年建校，坐落于山东省潍坊市，面向全国30个省份招生，现有全日制高职在校生13800多人，畜牧兽医类在校生数量全国第一，是全国最大的畜牧兽医人才培养基地。

Shandong Vocational Animal Science and Veterinary College is a full-time public higher vocational school sponsored by the People's Government of Shandong Province. It is a construction unit of the "China Featured High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan", a national backbone higher vocational college, a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training, a high-quality higher vocational college in Shandong Province, and a demonstration school for rural revitalization in Shandong Province. Founded in 1955 and located in Weifang City, Shandong Province, the college enrolls students from 30 provinces across the country, with more than 13,800 full-time vocational college students. The number of students majoring in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine ranks first in the country, making it the largest talent training base for animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in China.

学校坚持立足山东、面向全国，以党建为引领，持续深化改革，走出了一条产教融合、校企合作的特色办学路子。近年来，学校荣获全国高职院校服务贡献50强、全国高职院校育人成效50强、全国大学生综合满意度50强高校等多项荣誉称号，被山东省委、省政府授予“科教兴鲁先进单位”。

Adhering to the orientation of being based in Shandong and facing the whole country, the college takes party building as the lead, continuously deepens reforms, and has developed a characteristic school-running path of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation. In recent years, the college has won many honorary titles such as Top 50 National Higher Vocational Colleges in Service Contribution, Top 50 National Higher Vocational Colleges in Education Effectiveness, and Top 50 Colleges and Universities in National College Students' Comprehensive Satisfaction. It has been awarded "Advanced Unit for Promoting Shandong through Science and Education" by the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government.
