韶关学院是广东省属公办普通高等学校，坐落于粤北历史文化名城韶关市。学校举办师范教育始于1903年、医学教育始于1914年、高等教育始于1958年，由5所学校合并组建而成，2000年升格本科，2024年获硕士学位授予单位。学校占地2571亩，以师范教育为特色，农学、工学为发展优势，多学科协调发展，现有全日制本专科在校生2.62万人，开设有11个学科门类71个本科专业，综合办学实力在粤北地区位居前列。

Shaoguan University is a public general higher education institution under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, located in Shaoguan, a famous historical and cultural city in northern Guangdong. The university's normal education began in 1903, medical education in 1914, and higher education in 1958. It was formed by the merger of five schools, upgraded to a bachelor's degree-granting institution in 2000, and obtained the qualification as a master's degree-granting unit in 2024. Covering an area of 2571 mu, the university features normal education with agricultural and engineering disciplines as development advantages, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It currently has 26,200 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, offering 71 undergraduate majors across 11 disciplines, and its comprehensive办学 strength ranks among the top in northern Guangdong.

学校坚持“立德树人、服务社会”的办学宗旨，实施内涵发展、特色发展等四大战略，扎根韶关、服务广东、辐射港澳。现有国家级特色专业1个、省级一流本科专业14个，建有省级科研平台30个，近五年学生获省级以上学科竞赛奖励2595项，毕业生年终毕业去向落实率稳定在95%左右，为社会培养各类人才30多万人，是粤北地区重要的人才培养和科技创新基地。

Adhering to the mission of "Establishing Morality and Cultivating Talents, Serving Society", the university implements four major strategies including connotative development and characteristic development, rooted in Shaoguan, serving Guangdong, and radiating to Hong Kong and Macao. It has 1 national-level characteristic major, 14 provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors, and 30 provincial-level scientific research platforms. In the past five years, students have won 2595 provincial and above academic competition awards, with the annual graduate employment rate stable at around 95%. The university has cultivated over 300,000 talents for society, becoming an important talent training and technological innovation base in northern Guangdong.
