上海电影艺术职业学院成立于2003年12月，是经国家教育部、文化部和上海市人民政府批准的全日制普通高等艺术院校，坐落于上海市浦东新区张江高科技园区。作为全国第二所以电影命名的独立院校，学院秉承“厚德、博艺、创新、和谐”的校训，聚焦现代电影工业，注重艺术与科技的结合，全面推行产教融合协同育人和国际化发展战略。

Shanghai Film Art Academy was founded in December 2003. It is a full-time public higher art institution approved by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, located in the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. As the second independent college named after film in China, the academy adheres to the school motto of "Virtue, Art, Innovation, Harmony", focuses on the modern film industry, emphasizes the integration of art and technology, and fully implements the strategies of industry-education integration, collaborative education, and international development.

学院现设有戏剧影视表演、影视编导、摄影摄像技术、影视动画、游戏艺术设计等17个专业，在校生近2300人。拥有电视剧制作甲级许可证，通过多专业综合联训教学改革（获上海市教学成果一等奖）构建了开放互动的人才培养模式，毕业生就业率连续多年位居上海高校前列，平均薪资稳居应用型本专科院校前三。

The academy currently offers 17 majors including Drama and Film Performance, Film and Television Directing, Photography and Camera Technology, Film and Television Animation, and Game Art Design, with nearly 2,300 students. It holds a Grade A license for TV drama production and has established an open and interactive talent training model through interdisciplinary integrated training reforms (awarded the first prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievements). The employment rate of graduates has ranked among the top in Shanghai universities for many years, and the average salary has remained among the top three in application-oriented colleges and universities.

学院积极推进国际化办学，与英国赫特福大学、法国自由电影学院等海外院校建立合作，并与上海体育学院、上海师范大学等开展高本贯通项目。依托上海“全球影视创制中心”战略定位，学院正通过资源整合打造多样化影视人才培养平台，助力上海影视产业创新发展新格局。

The academy actively promotes international education, establishing partnerships with overseas institutions such as the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and École Libre des Arts du Cinéma (France), and collaborating with Shanghai University of Sport and Shanghai Normal University for undergraduate bridging programs. Leveraging Shanghai's strategic positioning as a "Global Film and Television Production Center", the academy is integrating resources to build diversified film talent training platforms, supporting the innovative development of Shanghai's film industry.
