深圳大学（Shenzhen University）是由广东省主管、深圳市人民政府主办的综合性大学，1983年经国务院批准创办。建校之初，清华大学、北京大学、中国人民大学等高校援建深圳大学，为学校奠定了坚实的办学基础。学校坐落于深圳市南山区，毗邻深圳湾和华侨城，校园环境优美，设施先进，是一所现代化、国际化的高水平大学。

Shenzhen University (SZU), a comprehensive university administered by Guangdong Province and sponsored by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, was founded in 1983 with the approval of the State Council. In its early days, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China and other institutions assisted in its establishment, laying a solid foundation for the university. Located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, adjacent to Shenzhen Bay and Overseas Chinese Town, the university boasts a beautiful campus and advanced facilities, making it a modern and international high-level university.

学校学科门类齐全，涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、医学、管理学、艺术学等11个学科门类。现有国家级特色专业5个，国家级一流本科专业建设点34个，省级一流本科专业建设点18个。学校注重学科交叉融合，在计算机科学、光学工程、建筑学、新闻传播学等学科领域形成了鲜明特色和优势。

The university offers a complete range of disciplines, covering 11 fields including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management, and art. It currently has 5 national-level characteristic specialties, 34 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 18 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The university emphasizes interdisciplinary integration and has formed distinctive features and advantages in disciplines such as computer science, optical engineering, architecture, and journalism and communication.
