上海现代化工职业学院是一所工科为主、多科协调发展的上海市新型公办高等职业学校，前身为1978年成立的上海石化工业学校，2022年由金山区整合优质职教资源设立。学校以“善学修德、精技致业”为校训，构建融合“金山工匠精神”与“海鸥精神”的校园文化，先后荣获“全国教育系统先进集体”“全国职业教育先进单位”等称号。

Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College is a new public higher vocational school in Shanghai focusing on engineering with coordinated multidisciplinary development. Its predecessor, Shanghai Petrochemical Industry School founded in 1978, was reorganized by Jinshan District in 2022 through integrating high-quality vocational education resources. With the motto "Learn Wisely, Cultivate Virtue, Master Skills, Achieve Careers", the college has built a campus culture that integrates "Jinshan Craftsman Spirit" and "Seagull Spirit", and has successively won titles such as "National Advanced Collective in Education System" and "National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education".

学校占地150亩，建筑面积8.7万平方米，设有化学工程学院、智能制造学院等五大学院，构建以现代化工为龙头，新能源、新材料、智能制造为两翼，安全与应急管理为支撑的专业体系，开设应用化工技术、高分子材料智能制造技术等10余个专业。拥有3个市级开放实训中心及国家级虚拟仿真实训基地，与200余家国内外企业深化产教融合，创新“八维一体”校企合作模式。

Covering an area of 150 mu with a building area of 87,000 square meters, the college has five schools including the School of Chemical Engineering and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing. It has established a professional system with modern chemical engineering as the leader, new energy, new materials and intelligent manufacturing as the two wings, and safety and emergency management as the support, offering more than 10 majors such as Applied Chemical Technology and Polymer Material Intelligent Manufacturing Technology. The college boasts 3 municipal-level open training centers and a national virtual simulation training base, and has deepened industry-education integration with over 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, innovating an "eight-dimensional integration" school-enterprise cooperation model.
