上海兴伟学院坐落于上海浦东新区临港自由贸易区，是一所非营利性全日制民办普通本科高等学校，由上海兴伟学院教育发展基金会举办。学校前身为2001年4月创建的上海托普信息技术职业学院，2010年12月更名为上海兴韦信息技术职业学院，2014年2月改制为本科高校并启用现名。学校占地23.10万平方米，总建筑面积10.32万平方米，教学科研及辅助用房3.83万平方米，配备现代化教学楼、图书馆、体育馆、多媒体实验室等设施，满足师生教学与生活需求。

Shanghai Xingwei College is located in the Lingang Free Trade Zone of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is a non-profit full-time private general undergraduate institution organized by the Shanghai Xingwei College Education Development Foundation. Formerly established as Shanghai Top Information Technology Vocational College in April 2001, it was renamed Shanghai Xingwei Information Technology Vocational College in December 2010 and restructured into an undergraduate institution with its current name in February 2014. Covering an area of 231,000 square meters with a total construction area of 103,200 square meters (including 38,300 square meters for teaching and research facilities), the college is equipped with modern teaching buildings, libraries, gymnasiums, multimedia laboratories, and other facilities to meet teaching and daily needs of faculty and students.

学校以“小规模、高水平、非营利”为办学定位，秉承“自由、激情、致良知”的校训，坚持德育为先、学生为本、能力为重的办学理念。现开设英语和国际商务两个本科专业，分别于2020年6月和2021年6月获得学士学位授予权。课程体系融合通识教育与专业培养，采用小班化教学、项目式学习和导师制辅导模式，注重培养学生批判性思维、实践能力及国际视野。通过聘请国内外知名学者、企业导师及开展跨校合作，深度推进博雅教育特色，搭建学生自我设计与发展的平台。

With the educational orientation of "small-scale, high-standard, non-profit", the college adheres to the motto of "Freedom, Passion, Conscience" and upholds the educational philosophy of "morality first, student-centered, ability-oriented". Currently offering two undergraduate programs in English (bachelor's degree awarded in June 2020) and International Business (bachelor's degree awarded in June 2021), its curriculum integrates general education with professional training. Featuring small-class teaching, project-based learning, and tutorial system, the college emphasizes cultivating students' critical thinking, practical abilities, and international perspectives.
