绥化学院是黑龙江省属公立综合性普通本科高等学校，座落在中国寒地黑土绿色物产之乡绥化市，与省会哈尔滨相距70余公里。学校办学历史悠久，1953年创办绥化师范学校，历经发展，2004年经教育部批准升格为本科院校。现设有12个学院（系、部），开设41个本科专业，涵盖教育学、文学、理学、工学、农学、经济学、管理学、艺术学等八个学科门类，面向全国21个省（自治区、直辖市）招生，现有全日制在校生11400人。

Suihua University is a public comprehensive ordinary undergraduate institution under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province. It is located in Suihua City, known as the hometown of green products in China's cold black soil region, and is more than 70 kilometers away from Harbin, the provincial capital. With a long history, the university was founded as Suihua Normal School in 1953 and was upgraded to an undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004 after years of development. Currently, it has 12 schools (departments), offering 41 undergraduate majors covering eight disciplines including Education, Literature, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Economics, Management, and Art. It enrolls students from 21 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) across the country, with 11,400 full-time students.

学校师资队伍精良，现有教职工810人，具有高级专业技术职务人员232人，博士、硕士504人，外籍教师7人，享受政府特殊津贴专家2人。校园占地40余万平方米，建筑面积22.5余万平方米，教学仪器设备总值1.06亿元，图书馆纸质藏书100万册。学校以“厚德载物、经世致用”为校训，注重应用型人才培养，形成了“五练一熟”与接力式顶岗支教相结合的师范教育特色，特殊教育专业为省级重点专业，建有黑龙江省唯一的特殊教育本科专业和残疾人高等教育培养体系。

The university boasts a high-caliber faculty, with 810 staff members, including 232 with senior professional titles, 504 with doctoral or master's degrees, 7 foreign teachers, and 2 experts enjoying special government allowances. The campus covers an area of over 400,000 square meters, with a building area of more than 225,000 square meters. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 106 million yuan, and the library has 1 million paper books. With the motto of "Virtue Carries Things, Learning Serves the World", the university focuses on cultivating applied talents, forming a normal education characteristic combining "Five Practices and One Proficiency" with relay-style post practice teaching. The special education major is a provincial key major, and the university has established the only undergraduate program in special education in Heilongjiang Province and a higher education training system for the disabled.

学校坚持开放办学，与俄罗斯、澳大利亚、日本等国家高校开展校际交流合作，互派留学生。先后荣获全国普通高校国家优秀教学成果特等奖、高等教育国家级教学成果二等奖、全国高校校园文化建设优秀成果二等奖等荣誉，是国家级文明单位、黑龙江省特殊教育师资培训基地和省特殊教育专业委员会理事长单位。

The university adheres to open education and has carried out intercollegiate exchanges and cooperation with universities in Russia, Australia, Japan and other countries, exchanging international students. It has successively won honors such as the Special Prize of National Excellent Teaching Achievements in ordinary colleges and universities, the Second Prize of National Teaching Achievements in Higher Education, and the Second Prize of National Excellent Achievements in Campus Culture Construction of Colleges and Universities. It is a national civilized unit, a special education teacher training base in Heilongjiang Province, and the chairman unit of the Provincial Special Education Professional Committee.
